Marissa Pedersen - Travelstride Destination Expert

Marissa is the blogger behind Postcards to Seattle, a blog that focuses on cultural and adventure travel. She began traveling quite a bit after college, and is slowly adding more countries to her resume. Finding new ways to stay active in each country visited is a goal she always has, whether it's kayaking in Lake Como or hiking in Ireland. She hopes to go to all 7 continents in the future. In the next few years, she plans on backpacking through Central America and skiing in South America.

When she's not traveling, she can be found exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest she calls home. There's always new trails to hike or rivers to be kayaked.

What keeps Marissa awake at night plotting trips: Reading other travel blogs and articles finding new places to explore and add to her bucket list.

Going to Europe for the first time and being able to see 7 different countries within the trip was amazing. They all varied so much in the culture, food, traditions, and people. It was very eye-opening!
