Physical Level Descriptions
While browsing our site, you’ll notice we provide easy categorization of how physically demanding a specific trip is or isn’t.
The physical level designation and trip filter is intended to give you an easy way to understand the level of exertion you might experience on your trip.
Our physical levels are as follows:
Very Easy
Trips labeled as “Very Easy” typically involve minimal physical activity, such as brief walking tours of a city on even terrain. Motor vehicles are available or used for all portions of trip. Many trips with this label will be wheelchair friendly, but always check with the tour operator about the trip you are considering. Train journeys and most small ship and river cruises will be labeled as “very easy” given the mode of travel, but always check on the types of shore excursions they offer.
