Best Things to Do in Agra

It was an amazing organisation and the leader did his best at all times to please everyone and make sure we were all happy. I had a fabulous time on this trip and the people were great. We visited some beautiful sites which I will never forget. I will definitely book some more trips with you in the near future. Thank you Explore!

The leader, Inder, was absolutely amazing! He was very knowledgable and was able to answer our questions. He also adapted to the dynamic of our group and was patient with our silliness, and he has a good sense of humour. I can’t have Coriander (which is EVERYWHERE in India!) and Inder made a point to always being near me when I ordered food, to make sure they waiters understood there couldn’t be any coriander in the food. At breakfast he made sure something coriander-free was prepared for me. I couldn’t have wished for a better tour leader!
The hotels were generally good! Some eere amazingly great, like the palace in the countryside and the traditional Haveli in Jaipur. The hotel in Agra and the Rockland in Delhi were just good, but really good for the Indian standard I am sure. .
All in all, that was an amazing trip and I have already started to recommend it!

The Taj Mahal magnificent. And Jaipur.

Incredible experience of a completely different culture. The palaces and cities were interesting, but the highlights for me were all the people we met along the way: students on the train who wanted to be engineers; villagers who came over to the island when we were camping to take selfies with us; and joining in with their Holi celebrations. Raj, our tour leader, knew everyone and everyone knew Raj! He looked after us very well and we always felt safe. I felt we were able to explore the real India and Nepal in ways that we wouldn't have done if I'd planned the trip myself. Highly recommended.

Two highlight for me of this extraordinarily great trip we’re taking a long look at the wild Royal Bengal tiger sauntering in the late afternoon sun and the trip on the Ganges. We were in a flotilla of small traditional boats with the chef and crew in another following. We camped on an island in the Ganges. So original and dreamlike! Also our extraordinarily good team leader who went above and way beyond to look out for us, constantly forward planning. He helped with airline lost bags and myself and another in the party who picked up an infection. Sanjeev Gurung was an absolute professional and good company too.

The itinerary was great- not too intense but also included everything we could’ve wanted to do and still had time to relax in between. Our tour leader Satish was friendly and knowledgeable and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. Would definitely recommend this trip
