Best Things to Do in Monteverde Cloud Forest

So wonderful! It was fabulous to have someone else plan the itinerary- saved me a bunch of research time and I saw a bunch of Costa Rica. It got me to try things I would not have signed up for on my own - zip lining, bridge jumping, rappelling waterfalls. Shuttles were timely, safe, clean and many of them had wifi! Best of all, I was assigned a concierge who helped with clarifications, modifications, and assistance with communications. Top notch experience I totally recommend!!

CharlieTheTraveler set up an amazing experience in Costa Rica! Great food, people, and adventures! I had a blast tasting the fresh fruits and exploring the jungles and many waterfalls and seeing the natural wonders and animals of the variegated landscape. The lively nightlife of Tamarindo was vivacious! Good tunes and good people! The night hike in Monteverde’s cloud forest was crazy! Got to see so many critters and crawlers! The guides were eagle eyes! The waterfall rappelling in La Fortuna was incredible! Awesome getting to relax at the hot springs afterwards! Manuel Antonio was so lush and chill! The national park is beautiful and I fulfilled my sloth quota! The surfing school was rad; good teachers, muy divertido! Delicious ceviche! San Jose was very interesting! Big city with diamonds in the rough. The Pre-Colombian Gold Museum was unique and the Doka Estate coffee plantation was really informative! I had so much fun meeting a variety of folks from all over the world: travelers and guides alike all wanting to talk about what they’ve experienced in this wonderful país! Thanks so much!

The tour was very well planned. Despite solo travel, I met quite some interesting locals on the way. I like the choice of the activities as well as the accommodations. The local guide is very helpful and responsive. It was a perfect vacation. I really enjoyed it!

Charlie the Traveler was everything I could want in taking an arranged tour to Costa Rica. My tour was originally for 11 days, and without a problem I added 2 extra days in Manual Antonio. I requested more info on the tour and immediately received a response. I was really looking for something that would give me a little of everything that the Cou try has to offer. This trip was for active/ adventurous travelers, I'm 64, F, and was traveling solo. Charlie went over the tour and explained some of the bust / long days, he assured me that he had plenty of older singles that could keep up with this tour. I felt that this would be the best tour for my needs, and signed up. Every step of the process in getting ready for the trip was covered. Charlie handled everything in planning the trip and also sent very clear instructions o. What was needed for the trip, basic packing help and reminders, and tips on travel in Costa Rica such as tipping and timeliness issues that could arrise. He assigned me a concierge in Costa Rica that was with me by text 24 hours the entire trip. I never really felt alone. Each and every activity was well planned and professional. Same for the drivers and tour guides. The hotels Charlie booked for me met every expansion. I had, that we had discussed. This was an effortless, well planned, trip of a lifetime. I will surely use Charlie again

Thanks Charlie! No trip is ever perfect to the dot but my experience was pretty close. Honestly, I had a blast because I met so many people during my tours and everyday was different. The guides you chose we’re overall great! I really saw the quality when I booked a mangrove tour on my own and the guide had me translating for the other English speaking families ?. I will say that Kenia Maria was the best guide ever!! She was so awesome! I did meet one of your other clients in Costa Rica. I think having extra days is so helpful (I did a total of 13) because it’s so jam packed with activities and it allows for some spontaneity for the traveler too. My amount of time was perfect! I wasn’t too tired and I wasn’t bored and I had time to make plans with other solo travelers! Anyways, thank you and your team! I will forever cherish this trip.
