Expect in Africa Safari exceeded my expectations. Our driver was Raymond. Raymond was extremely knowledgeable, he had an answer for every question we had. He was able to use his knowledge of birds and animals to locate every animal we wanted to see. He was professional and kind. We will be returning with our children and using Raymond again. We also loved the accommodations. We felt safe and the tents were clean and spacious. If you are considering safari, this company is who you need to book with.

Back home after a great adventure: 5895m in 6 days. Highest mountain in Africa and highest single-standing mountain in the world. KILIMANJARO left me breathless in every sense of the word. I've never experienced physical exhaustion to that extend, but I have never seen landscapes this beautiful. I was so lucky to have had an amazing and supportive team with me all the way up the mountain. Thank you, Jenny Takyi, for having connected two friends. Lawrence Thomas, for having made this adventure come true and for having been on the trail with me. Thanks to my kind, hugging and singing guide, Ellie. And thank you so much to the rest of the crew for having literally made this possible by carrying all this stuff up this monster called a mountain, for your smiles, for amazing food and for kicking me out of bed every morning ;)

We choose Expect In Africa Safari because it matched our needs. A small business who is ran perfectly. We had all the information we needed before to do the safari for 2 days. They helped to choose the best option for the national park. We choose Tarangire and Ngorogoro Crater. During the safari, the guide was great always taking time to explain us the wildlife and other facts about the park. He has a lot of experience. The accommodation they booked for us was beyond expectation. Overall the safari was amazing and we saw a lot of animals especially babies lions.
I recommend them.

Spent the night in a tree top shack close to the safari park and enjoyed the day in the park in a four wheel drive. Couldn't see the big four as the lions evaded us. Overall a great experience to see the wildlife up close.

Itinerary

Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport To Arusha Town
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be meet and greet by our customer service representative Afterward you will be assisted to board your vehicle for your transfer to your hotel in Arusha Town dinner and overnight at
The African Tulip Hotel or similar.

Day 2: Arusha Town To Lake Manyara National Park To Karate:
Early breakfast than with your picnic lunch drive to L/Manyara National Park, famous for its green scenery, varied bird life, tree-climbing lions, hippos baboons and many more wild animals till late in the evening then drive to your Karatu Town near Ngorongoro conservation area.
Dinner and overnight at the Acacia Farm Lodge or similar.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park- Serengeti National Park
Early breakfast than with your picnic lunch drive to famous Serengeti national Park via Ngorongoro Conservation area, game drive en route. Having a chance to see all big five see all big four e.g. Lions, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopard and many other wild animals like Hippos, Zebras, Wildebeests, Cheetahs, Hyenas, Thomson Gazelles just to mention a few. Seronera area its wild paradise you will be able to see thousands of wild animals and also Immigration of wildebeests depending on the season. Then Afternoon game drives thereafter
Dinner and overnight at the Serengeti Tortilis Camp or similar.

Day 4: Serengeti-Ngorongoro Crater-Karatu Town
Early breakfast with your picnic lunch short game drive in Serengeti then drives to Ngorongoro crater floor one of the wonders of the world. Game drive inside the crater till late in the evening having a chance to see all big five e.g. Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Buffalos, Leopard and many other wild animals like Hippos, Zebras, Wildebeests, Cheetahs, Hyenas, Thomson Gazelles just to mention a few. Then drive back to Karatu Town
Dinner and overnight at Acacia Farm Lodge or similar.

Day 5: Karatu Town- Arusha Airport-Zanzibar-Stone Town:
After breakfast make nice pictures and some shopping of souvenirs in the shops nearby then depart to Arusha Airport for your flight with at 0200 pm to Zanzibar Arrival at 0330 pm meet and greet the transfer to Stone Town,
Dinner and overnight at Tembo House Hotel or similar.

Day 6: Safari Blue Tour At The Menai Bay Conservation Area
Safari Blue is a full day trip and includes the use of top quality snorkeling equipment with guides and instructors, ice cold sodas, mineral water and beer, a delicious Zanzibari seafood lunch with grilled fish and slipper lobster, gastronomic fruit tasting, coffee and Amarula liqueur. Safari Blue explores the Menai Bay Conservation Area, which is home to two different species of dolphins, the Indo-pacific humpback, and the bottlenose. In the morning you will set down on one of the beautiful sandbanks where one can relax, swim or snorkel. Experienced snorkeling guides will show you the pristine coral reef, which teems with tropical sea life. After snorkeling cold drinks, thereafter you will go to Kwale Island where you have your desert island restaurant. The buffet lunch includes fish, slipper lobster, calamari, rice, and sauces all served hot from the grill enjoy your day till late in the afternoon then back to your hotel dinner and overnight at Tembo House Hotel or similar.

Day 7: Jozani Forest & Spice Tour Beach Hotel: Nungwi Beach North Coast
Breakfast then depart to Jozani Forest of the last remaining natural rainforests in East Africa. The forest is full of large exotic trees and harbors different species of Monkeys, especially the Red Colobus Monkeys who are indigenous to the Island. It's represents a very important refuge for the flora and fauna of the island, you will see also mangrove forest thereafter depart to the Spice tours. Its offers visitors to Zanzibar an opportunity to tour plantations, to learn about the history of the island and the cultivation of spice plants, and to see many varieties of spices produced here. Your guide will give detailed descriptions of what the various plants are used for. Lunch will be at the spice plantation late afternoon depart to your beach hotel evening

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations by Expect In Africa Safari
If the tour is not paid by the due date, Expect in Africa Safari has the right to cancel the tour.

Cancellations by Customer
If the customer chooses to cancel the tour reservation, the effective date of the cancellation is the date Expect in Africa Safari receives written notification.

The cancellation penalties are as follows:
45 days from departure – deposit will be refunded
Between 30 and 45 days from departure – deposit is forfeited
30 days from departure - no refund.
All cancellations that are refunded will be refunded the above amount less any expenses incurred
Administration fees, bank charges, booking fees, etc.
No refund is available for any unused portion of the tour once commenced.

Change of Contract
Expect in Africa Safari reserves the right to alter any tour to adhere to local conditions, safety concerns, or regulations. We also retain the right to refuse any person from participating or continuing any tour if that individual causes or is deemed to cause hazard to other passengers or the local people and their cultures.

Customers with Special needs
It is the customer’s responsibility to disclose to Expect in Africa Safari, and prior to any booking, any physical or mental conditions which may be relevant. We will try to accommodate these conditions as best as possible.
No liability shall be attached to Expect in Africa Safari for the provision of an unsuitable tour, or for any person where that persons special needs have not been disclosed at the time of booking.

Special Requests
Special requests, such as dietary restrictions, must be communicated by the customer in writing to Expect in Africa Safari at the time of making the booking. Expect in Africa Safari will use reasonable endeavors to fill all requests. However, special requests cannot be guaranteed and do not form part of the contract. No liability will be attached to Expect in Africa Safari for failure to comply with a special request.

Obligations of the Customer
The customer is responsible for checking their travel documents to ensure the dates are correct and should notify Expect in Africa Safari immediately of any errors or changes.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that their travel documentations are in order (e.g. Valid passport and visa)
If the customer does not arrive on the agreed date of the tour, Expect in Africa Safari is entitled to treat the tour as being cancelled by the customer.
The customer agrees to abide by instructions given by Expect in Africa Safari employees and agrees to indemnify the company against any loss or injury suffered as a result of failing to comply with employee instructions.
The customer agrees to conduct themselves in a proper manner so as not to cause disturbance or offense to other customers or local people.

Liability and Insurance
Expect in Africa Safari is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage sustained by passengers. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest must be borne by the customer. In addition, Expect in Africa Safari will not be held liable for any delays or cancellations due to any type of public transport.
The customer is responsible for obtaining full travel and health insurance. It is the responsibility of the customer to read their insurance policy before they travel to ensure that the insurance provides the customer with the appropriate amount of coverage.

Passport and Visas
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they are traveling with a valid passport. It is recommended to ensure your passport is valid for 6 months after you travel.
It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain the correct visa to enter Tanzania.

Privacy
Expect in Africa Safari confirms that all personal information that is provided by the customer will be used only for the purpose of the tour that is booked by Expect in Africa Safari. This information will not be communicated to any other third parties.

Age Notes

Children  minimum age is 6 years old unless noted on the itinerary and all children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age is 12 years old for Connections European River Cruise Journeys and varies for Family Journeys. Some activities contained within an itinerary may have a different age restriction than the overall minimum age requirement. Details will be provided at the time of booking. A&K reserves the right to marginally exceed the published maximum group size on Family journeys to accommodate a family.
