Best Things to Do in Aix En Provence

Not enough to do in Chateauneuf for 2 nights. Ride was beautiful, but dinning choices were very limited. Routes were very beautiful and generally very low traffic.
The room in Hotel Gounod was tiny! In comparison, the other accommodation were much more gracious! Our hosts in Uzes and Chateauneuf were amazing! Very welcoming, helpful and warm!
The trip highlights for us ? Pont de Gard! Riding around Chateauneuf. Arles is amazing! Routes were thoughtfully planned.

Sometimes road book was very specific. Some new roads not included. This meant a few deviations. Fantastic experience. Great support from the agency. We loved the ride. We loved the choice of towns. We loved the accommodation and the people who ran the hotels. And we loved the transfer drivers. The trip highlights were Chateauneuf de Pape, the countryside, the food, the wine, the people.

Tour was excellent. Particularly useful were the restaurant recommendations provided in the book as well as important sites to see. Everything was well organized and described clearly and accurately.
We were very happy with the bikes and the agency was very responsive to inquiries both before and during the trip. We had a great trip, thanks for excellent planning and helping us throughout the way. The maps, recommendations, etc were very good. The self-guided cycling tour was a well-planned route. The sites were grand, the countryside beautiful. Would recommend this to anyone who loves cycling with a few climbs. All accommodations were well chosen and efficient.
What were the special highlights for you ? Avignon - palais du papes; the market, the bridge, the gardens. Wine tasting at cave de St. Charles in Chateauneuf du Pape, Uzes, St. Quentin la poterie. Countryside as the wildflowers were in bloom: vineyards, jasmine, fig trees, wineries, apricot groves, etc. Les Baux Carriere de Lumieres, the village and chateaux. The climbs and descents. Pont du Gard, St. Remy. The entire journey was a highlight.
Definitely will recommend Walk Inn to friends. The cycling, the sites we visited and the countryside were spectacular. Hotels and restaurants were very well chosen. Weather was perfect each day. A few of the roadbook maps were somewhat confusing. We made some wrong turns, however, found our way to the correct route without cycling too far out of the way. Thank you for accommodating our trip! We will certainly refer our friends to Walk Inn Provence.

The hotels and bikes were good, we loved the routes and we had excellent meals throughout. The highlights for us were: Palais des Papes, Theatre in Orange, riding through the vineyards above Chateauneuf, the town of Uzès and the welcome from Elizabeth, Pont du Gard, Glanum and many lovely meals.
