Algarve Itineraries

Travelling in April the walks provided beautiful wild flowers and aromas of orange and lemon groves. The walks were nice and gentle but the trip notes were a bit out of date eg the camera obscura is closed. The hotel was nice, spa and pool were a treat and the staff were friendly - only downside my room was on the ground floor near the lifts and car park and was rather noisy into the night.

Tavira was a lovely base with lots of good restaurants. The hotel was very comfortable and a short walk into town. Peter was an excellent guide. The walks were varied and at a leisurely pace, with plenty of time to take photographs and look at scenery.

Lovely friendly guide, and excellent hotel with superb breakfast buffet. The walking was easy going and relaxing. The included museum visit at the end of one of the walks could be missed out!

Wonderful leaders who were very knowledgeable, polite, informative, had a good sense of humour, enthusiastic about the culture and were able to converse in a very amicable manner.
