Canadian Rockies and Pacific Coast
Fantastic trip, so much to see and do in this beautiful country. The accommodation was all very comfortable and our guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, kind and had the patience of a saint! A trip I will remember always.

Canadian Rockies and Pacific Coast
Amazing itinerary with enough time to get a flavour of the place - though not as much time as you will wish you could have spent!! Fantastic scenery - everywhere you turn a new breathtaking view. Really varied landscape as well: mountains, lakes, forests, waterfalls, sea... just stunning.
Our tour leader, Dustin, was simply brilliant - super knowledgeable, informative, engaging, helpful and funny. Every single one of his restaurant recommendations was spot on and we ate very well, particularly the restaurant in Clearwater, Hop N Hog, and the one in Tofino, Schooner, were amazing. Huge portions everywhere though!
Trip pace was absolutely fine, hikes (recommended and accompanied by Dustin for those who wanted to do them, alternative suggestions for anybody who didn't) were spectacular and not were very manageable for all. I would have loved to do even more it was so beautiful to explore on foot, but that was not the trip I booked - so didn't expect more!
Accommodation was absolutely fine and nice and varied, hotels as well as lodges. Rooms were spacious and tended to have a fridge so you could have some bits for breakfast and coffee, as breakfast was not included except in Victoria (which wasn't an issue at all, as there were cafes or supermarkets nearby or the accommodation had a place for breakfast attached).
If I could change anything (in hindsight), I would have chosen to go in the other direction, i.e. Vancouver to Calgary, as the Rockies were the true highlight for me.

Walking in the Canadian Rockies
A well-organised, well-planned itinerary and a superb, multi-talented guide in Laurence. She was amazing.

Some of the locations are packed with tourists but Laurence soon got us away from most of the crowds. On the best walk on day 6 we barely saw another soul. Wonderful.

I thought the walks were more challenging than the trip notes suggest. But we had plenty of time (the timings on the trip notes are way out!) on each one to take them slow and steady with breaks as necessary. Personally, I just don't see the point of rushing them - it costs so much in terms of money, time and effort to get there so why not relax and enjoy the stunning scenery, wildlife and solitude? Luckily most of the group felt the same way.

Overall, a great two weeks seeing the Rockies in the best way possible.

Booking was handled well, considering it was done at short notice of about 4 weeks.

Canadian Rockies and Pacific Coast
I originally planned this trip in 2019 and it did not disappoint. Our tour leader Dusty was very knowledgeable, travel days flew by with regular stops and he took us to some amazing spots I would not have otherwise known about. I wanted to come to Canada for Vancouver but left wanting to come back for the National Parks.

Walking in the Canadian Rockies
Fantastic guide in Laurence. She was both an amazing guide and cook. The walks were good and great to see a variety of wildlife. Did the white water rafting, hot springs and ice walking which were all good.
The walk was graded moderate which I believe is accurate based on other Explore trips however others in the group found it harder. I think this is very subjective depending on fitness levels. As someone who is usually near the back of the group, I found the pace extremely slow which is why i have given four stars and not five.
