Cologne Itineraries

All of our activities were included- a boat ride along the Rhine, wine tasting, gingerbread bread making class, the Dachau concentration camp, a tour of Nuremberg. We jad such a great time doing all of these activities and ot was impressive that they were all included.

I think that the trip was fun filled with a great deal of activities, extremely informative, and unforgettable.

The trip was great, I would just change two things.

A&O hostel in Nuremberg was very disappointing. Our room had no heating and all the front desk told us we can check out if we want while also making sexsual comments. Completely unacceptable.

The dachau visit does not fit into to the trip and we also did not have enough time to explore it completely. I would rather drop that stop and spend more time at Christmas markets.

Great value for the price

If you’re looking for Christmas vibes, amazing food, and unforgettable views this is the trip for you! This is a fantastic time of year to visit Germany. I love that all the activities are included on this trip. The wine tasting after the Rhine River cruise was such a fun, unique experience even if you aren’t a big wine drinker. The castles and small fairytale feel towns are so charming and amazing. It is definitely worth it to do this trip! Each Christmas market is unique and some towns (like Munich) have many different themed markets! Don’t forget to try some gluhwein (or hot chocolate if you aren’t a drinker) as each market has different mugs you can collect!
