Daintree

Australia's Daintree National Park is a rainforest located in far north Queensland. Established as an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988, the rainforest is home to many unique flora and fauna. Perhaps most mysterious of these are the Cassowary bird - one of the closest living relations to the dinosaur, and the Boyd's Forest Dragon.

This was a trip with our two 30+ daughters and they picked it so they would have others in their own age group and a more active itinerary

The trip could have been some days longer, so we could have spent some more days in Byron Bay or Port Macquire
