"I've just returned from my trip to China, a week ago. I've seen many-many interesting places of Guangdong and Guangxi provinces. But most of all i liked my 2-days trip to Longshen villages with my guide Frank from chinahighlights. The day before our trip has started, in Guilin, Frank met me in hotel and told about our journey. Next 2 days we visited traditional ancient chinese villages (the biggest from them are Ping'an and Dazhai), walking around them, saw the rice-terraces landscape (it was really unbelievable). Also we had a hiking between villages, and stayed at night at ZhongLiu village. I haven't seen any tourists in this village, even chinese tourists. It was fantastic cause we've seen real chinese life of local people, including, for example, planting vegetables, collecting tea). Very quiet, fresh air, natural food. Yes, in this village almost no shops, no souvenirs, but you dont need them. All around you a hundred times better. I advice all, who wants to see real chinese life, visit this place, especially this village, stay at night there. Thanks very much to my guide Frank and chinahighlights for this trip!"

"My sister and I just came back from an incredible trip to Patagonia (both Argentina and Chile). Valentina at Global Basecamps did an excellent job organizing the trip for us, listening to our wishes, and then creating a custom trip that included both independent exploration and private-guided sections. She was very knowledgeable and patient with all our pre-trip questions (we had many!) and organized a great itinerary for us. We hit all the places we were interested in and everything went smoothly throughout the trip: hotels, transfers, excursions. The local tour guides were knowledgeable, welcoming, patient, and eager to share the beautiful places and interesting aspects of their country. A particular thank you to Luciano in El Chalten/El Calafate and JP and Camila at Estancia Cerro Guido, who went above and beyond to accommodate us. This was an expensive trip for us, but well worth it thanks to Global Basecamps and we will definitely contact them for our next travels!"

"My husband and I booked a trip with Why Jordan Tours in February. Working with Ahmad, to plan the trip, was a great experience. We communicated via email and he was always very quick getting back to me with any questions I had. On our arrival in Jordan, we were greeted by a representative who brought us to our driver. Our driver, Mohammad, gave us his phone number. This way we were able to communicate with him, via What's App, if we had any questions or concerns. Mohammad was excellent and did everything to ensure we had a great time visiting the sights he drove us to. We visited Amman, Jerash, Mt. Nebo, Madaba, Little Petra, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Bethany, and the Dead Sea. All the guided tours booked for us were excellent. It was very nice having either Mohammad, or a tour guide for the area we were visiting, buy our tickets and get us into the sites. The hotels booked by Ahmad were all very nice and the night we spent in the Wadi Rum Camp was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Why Jordan Tours for your travels in Jordan. "It's hard to describe how lucky we are to have been able to work with Stephanie in planning our honeymoon to Japan. From the very beginning, Stephanie was friendly, flexible, and an absolute wealth of knowledge. We had several meetings with her leading up to our trip to come up with the perfect itinerary. I made the decision to travel to Athens in the summer of 2012 in order to avoid the commotion that was predicted to result from the Queen's jubilee. As usual, my work kept me busy right up to the last minute, so I ran out of time to do anything fun for my week-long trip. I learned about this young group of tour guides for Athens and its vicinity from a friend. I had a wonderful experience. I got in touch with Daphne, who gave me email recommendations for Athens attractions to see, inquired about my preferences for local cuisine, and then devised an itinerary for my trip. In addition to visiting the typical suspects in Athens (Acropolis, etc.), I also chose to travel to Delhi and spend a night at a campground there. And I had a great time, honestly. We visited the attractions when there were few visitors and spent the busiest times outside of Athens rather than being herded around like cattle. I was taken to incredible tiny eateries (the well-known tavernas), marketplaces, and other regional shops."

"We just went on Iconic Ireland and Ashford Castle and had a wonderful time. This was our first bus tour and we didn't know quite what to expect, however, we couldn't have had a more perfect time. Ireland is a beautiful country and we were stunned and thrilled with all the beauty we were able to see. The hotels were great - some definitely better than others but all were comfortable. My only complaint was that our last hotel had no ac and Ireland was experiencing a heat wave so the fan didn't help very much. That wasn't anyone's fault and I just went with the flow. Barbara (our guide) and Marina (our driver) were great and genuinely seemed to be concerned with everyone's comfort. The grande finale of Ashford Castle was incredible. Such a beautiful place and to be able to stay a night there was incredible. I ended up doing the Hawk Walk and horseback riding and I would recommend both - especially the hawk walk to anyone - I think people who are good riders would probably get to do more than we did but it was still great. I would recommend Brendan and this trip to anyone. Perfect amount of down time and activity. Loved it!"
