"We spent two wonderful weeks touring several of the best destinations in Portugal & Spain with a group of 16 people. Our guide (Fredy) was from Spain and intimately familiar with the region, including its rich history, attractions, and food/beverages. The tour was well-paced using a combinations of private vehicles (small buses and cabs), trains, and an airplane ride as well as a fair amount of walking to get around these two beautiful countries. We extended our stay in Lisbon to see more attractions and took a side trip to Fatima, Obidos, and Nazare that was also excellent. Would have liked to have a bit more time in a couple of the cities, but we'll just have to plan another trip!"

"Phenomenal! Karen was awesome. We made a potato soup with an avocado rose set on cheese in the middle of the soup. Then we made a sword fish in a cream sauce and finished with a chocolate fondue dish with a variety of passion fruit and other local fruits. It was the best cooking class I have ever taken. "My first trip with this agency, and I will not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family. The right mix of planned activities and free time. Good central location of all the hotels. The only fly in the ointment was the last hotel where there were vibration and noise in several rooms and the hotel staff was extremely arrogant and rude. They blatantly asserted looking me right in the eye that they cannot hear any noise, even though more than one person from our group was complaining. However. Tucan's guide Cindy was extremely helpful and did her best to resolve the situation, in spite of the hotel staff's behaviour. On the whole, Cindy was great, very helpful and caring."

Isabela Island Tour Selection Trips

  • Isabela is one of the main islands visited by tourists to the Galapagos. It is here where you'll discover and learn a lot of cultural and historical context that will be make your journey through the islands more meaningful. 
  • When observing the wildlife, you can get very close, but never, ever attempt to pet, touch, or feed the animals of the Galapagos.
  • Bring sun protection! It will be warm, and you'll be spending a lot of time out on the water and in unprotected areas on land.
  • When packing for the Galapagos, it is a good idea to bring water shoes and a pair of close toed hiking or tennis shoes. Dress in lightweight layers, and avoid cotton materials that absorb sweat rather than let the body breathe.
