What travelers are saying

"We just returned from a wonderful 3-week trip in Ecuador that included Quito, Amazon jungle, touring down the Andes to Cuenca, and Galapagos cruise. Our travel agent Alvaro did an excellent job helping us plan our trip - he was very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. All our guides were excellent, special shout-out to Christian, Sergio (aka Mike Tyson), and Pablo. Our favorite experiences were the Napo Cultural Center in the Amazon, biking/hiking at the Cotopaxi and Chimborazo volcanoes, and cruising the Galapagos."

What travelers are saying

"I recently booked a trip to Mexico with Tarita for my family. I use a wheelchair and have two small children, and Tarita was a wealth of knowledge about which resorts would be both accessible AND kid friendly, which was awesome. Access was at the top of her list and she handled all the details. Really happy that I found her!"

Isla San Cristobal Tour Selection Trips

  • Most tours of the Galapagos will feature a stop on San Cristobal, which is the first island Darwin landed on during his maiden voyage. Be sure to visit the Interpretation Center which provides a wonderful overarching view of the Island's history, both human and ecological.
  • When traveling to the Galapagos, be sure to pack lots of layers. The weather is mainly warm, but nights can get cool and some tours include stargazing excursions. You'll want a light sweatshirt! Also pack water shoes for the many times you'll be jumping in and out of dinghys.
  • The sun is unforgiving in the Galapagos, so bring a lot of sun protection, including strong sunscreen, long sleeve swimming cloths, and hats.
  • Observing the wildlife is one of the key attractions in the Galapagos. However, petting, touching, or feeding the animals is strictly forbidden, so be sure to follow all rules. Stay on marked paths as well, when hiking.
