Kep Itineraries

Our guides Cuong & Pol were outstanding. They went above and beyond to tailor each and every day o our needs and interests. They were all flexible, friendly, and knowledgeable. The highlights of our trip included meeting locals, kayaking on Ha Long Bay with a stay on a private boat. We enjoyed the local street food and touring the Siam Reap market with a chef. The Mono Garden and Angkor Village Hotel provided an excellent stay.

Cuong and Prasith stand out because they responded so well to us personally and did great work tweaking our itinerary. Sareth was also an excellent guide. The Knai Bang Chat hotel as way and above the best! Amazing architecture, peaceful, beautiful surroundings, delicious food. Could have stayed there for a week!
Everything was wonderful, so it seems unfair to pick and choose. But if we must: stand outs include Mango Home Cruise (we had a boat and crew to ourselves!); our early morning visit to Soc Trang floating market and that entire day which included a visit to a heron rookery, and a large pagoda/monastery where fruit bats roosted; and Knai Bang Chat in Kep, Cambodia. Prasith, our guide in Siem Reap, did an outstanding job of putting together two very memorable days there which included a wonderful much appreciated hike up to the River of a Thousand Linghams! We also appreciated having so much time to pursue our own esthetic interests: Jim produced many drawings and watercolors. I photographed some of the gorgeous insect life found in the region.
