Excellent choice of sites to get a true feel for Japan

Japan is such a beautiful country it looks so familiar then it really isn't. The best way to describe it is 'Frantically calm,' The cherry blossom was late this year which was great for me as they looked magnificent. If you are short on time this is the ideal tour. All the travel is by public transport be it Bullet train, tram or bus. The JR Rail pass is a must as you will use it every day. Great country, great food and a great tour

The hotels were great, clean and safe and breakfast good on the whole.

Our leader Jared Lash was outstanding, guiding us effortlessly around Japan on various forms of public transport, always helpful, cheerful and informative and very helpful and friendly to everyone in the group. His language skills and knowledge of Japan were brilliant and he made the whole experience so enjoyable.

Simply Japan was my first tour with Explore. I was nervous about going with a group but I had a great time. We were very lucky to have Karique as our leader. He has a great sense of humour and is extremely well informed and was able to answer all our questions. The itinerary is packed and is a very good introduction to Japan. I would recommend it to first time travellers to Japan.
