"I paid $107,000 to take my family on a trip to Patagonia. This company should be called “Unenchanting Travels”. They were absolutely unprofessional in every way. It started with their website payment service being very flawed. There were innumerable examples where the high-end and expensive hotels that they booked for us made egregious errors. These were five star luxury hotels that did not have English-speaking staff. Our point person wound up, becoming overwhelmed and was replaced by her manager, who is similarly grossly inadequate. They repeatedly misinformed us. One example was an occasion when they told us to take an Uber to a hotel where they had made a reservation for us, and indeed, no reservation had been made. When the flight of ours was canceled, which meant that we were going to miss our ship, it fell into our laps to do the planning to try to resuscitate the trip. They essentially told us that they were not feeling well and were overwhelmed. They were repeatedly blamed Problems, which came up on the hotels that they booked for us. I would not come close to this company again and would recommend avoiding them at all costs."

"Intrepid is very good with itinerary description but reality is not so true. We went to Chile, Argentina and Brazil. Our guides in Rio and Iguazu were the best. The rest were not. Guides in Argentina were the worse. Itineraries promised to us were not followed especially in Argentina. We were on a private tour but we had to rush most of the time in Chile and Argentina because the bus was not available to use beyond a certain time. So it felt like we were on a big group tour even though it was a private small group. We were promised 4 star and above hotels but in some places we got 3 stars that really were 2 stars only. There was mold on our curtains and black bed skirting, dirty toilets. We paid a lot for the trip but don’t think we got what we deserve. Guides in Argentina were very disorganized and they put us in a hotel in the area that was not super safe. There were better neighborhoods they could have places us in. Overall all I give only 3 stars to Intrepid. They did try to upgrade us and compensate with added shows but only after we demanded them. If you are looking for a high end tour experience I would not recommend Intrepid."

"Andrew stole our money ($22,000) that we paid for a luxury Ecuador / Peru vacation. He also stole $8,000 from our friend that was meeting us in South America. He first took our calls in 2020-2021, then disconnected all numbers. We went to the credit card company, and were unable to get a refund. He is a scammer. Beware! The trip was in April 2020, but I finished with the credit card company in May 2022."

"QWERTY travel did an awesome job of planning our trip. After speaking with Constance she offered a couple of optional itineraries. We worked together to tweek them to our specific desires. Our trip was designed just for the two of us and was a total of 25 days. Constance was always available and easy to work with. She planned our trip perfectly and everything went flawlessly. All of the transports and optional excursions were prompt for pickup. The guides spoke good English and very knowledgeable. While on our trip we reached out to Constance to book an additional excursion for the following day which she promptly completed. I cannot say enough positive things about this tour operator and it’s agent."
