Milford Sound

Hard to pick one thing but the trip out on Milford Sound was definitely A highlight. We arrived just after heavy rain and the rock faces were literally covered with curtains of waterfalls. Totally magical experience.

Our guide was very knowledgable of both islands. Plants, birds, cities, trails. Things to see and do on our free time. A very good driver.

Smooth purchase process with Explore as always. Lot's of nice scenery in NZ, the hiking had more elevation gain that I expected and the hiking group comprised of 40 and late 60 year old's; I'm in the latter group. I didn't care much for the hiking pace or elevation gains as it was a bit more than I was expecting. Back to leisurely sight seeing tours for me.
