What travelers are saying

"The itinerary is phenomenal, both interesting and educational. Highly recommended to anyone who has interest in the civil rights movement. We had wonderful local guides at every destination. Their knowledge and personal experience were priceless. They made the journey so enjoyable and gave me an understanding of the civil rights movement beyond my expectations. Every single event was memorable and unique. I didn’t like the hotels though, with the exception of Central Station Hotel in Memphis which was fabulous."

What travelers are saying

"Fantastic tour of Oman. Oman is absolutely stunning and people are very friendly. The camping part is quite basic and would recommend that you just camp in the desert and not on the beach. Our guide was very knowledgeable and took great pride in looking after us. This is my fourth trip with Explore now and would highly recommend them. Only eight people in my group and we were all single travellers. If you are on a budget then make sure you have around £60 to give for tips. This goes to all the drivers, chefs at both camps and the tour leader. One negative experience was going to see the turtles on the beach at night. When we arrived at the hotel who organise this event, we were met with a couple of other tourists expecting to see Turtles as well. The place was full of flashing neon lights and we asked our tour guide to take us back to hotel as it looked tacky, badly organised and unethical."

What travelers are saying

"An Unforgettable Journey - From Start to Finish I can't express enough how amazing our experience was with DesertBrise Travel, especially with Khalil. Right from our initial conversation, he was consistently available, responsive, and focused on planning every aspect of our trip. While we had some ideas for stops, we didn't have a complete picture, and Khalil took the time to craft a detailed trip plan. She involved us in the decision-making process, addressing all our questions and even providing a comprehensive packing list before our departure, ensuring we were well-prepared. Khalil's meticulous planning and support gave us confidence in the trip's success even before we set off. The journey itself exceeded our expectations. The itinerary was perfectly timed, taking us beyond the cities into rural areas, diverse landscapes, and providing a glimpse of Morocco we wouldn't have discovered on our own. Our accommodations were stunning, and the tour guides at each location were exceptional – well-versed in their areas of expertise and excellent communicators. Special mention goes to our overall guide, Omar, who not only drove us across the entire country but also ensured our comfort, enjoyment, and shared valuable insights, including introducing us to Moroccan and Amazigh music. A resounding 10/10 recommendation for DesertBrise Travel, Khalil, and the entire team. They truly deliver an unforgettable experience!"

Visits

Atlas Mountains, Essaouira, Marrakech

Highlights

  • Morocco is a real feast for the senses. Sip sweet mint tea in rural villages, see goats climbing trees in the desert, and tap your foot to traditional Amazigh musicians in Marrakech
  • Adventure into the Atlas Mountains and stay with a local family for an insight into traditional Moroccan life.
  • With French, Portuguese and Jewish influences, Essaouira is about as exotic as it gets. Feast on fresh-caught seafood, explore unique art galleries and be dazzled by a blue-specked townscape.
  • Witness the magnificent rolling waves of the Atlantic ocean from the back of a camel.
  • By travelling on this trip, you’ll directly support our Intrepid Foundation partner, Education for All. Donations help them support girls in the High Atlas Mountains through secondary school, bringing a generation of women out of the cycle of illiteracy, poverty and early marriage.

What travelers are saying

"We joined the Intrepid “Real Italy Food Tour” and enjoyed it thoroughly. Our tour guide, Micol, was very knowledgeable and provided us with lots of good information. It seems Micol knew many of the staff of the venues we visited, including the pasta making class we attended. Our group of 11 travelers was extremely compatible, which greatly added to the fun and enjoyment."

Morocco Tour Selection Trips

  • You can literally see all four seasons during one week in Morocco
  • From the seas of the coastal town of Essaouira to the desert at Erg Chebbi, you might experience snow flurries, warm breezes, and even be surprised by a rainstorm. This environmental and geographic diversity makes Morocco a beautiful place to visit at any time of year.
  • Although your tour will likely provide guides who speak your native tongue, if you wander out on your own, keep in mind that the population mainly speaks Arabic and French (with some Spanish in the north).

Best Times to Visit Morocco

While there truly isn’t a time when you should not visit Morocco, there are some weather related factors that you should take into account before planning your trip.

During the summer, Morocco can be very hot. When the sun is at its peak, it can reach to the utmost temperature of 100 degrees fahrenheit. Coastal cities are relatively cooler but are still pretty warm. The fall is one of the best times to visit Morocco. It is less crowded and the weather is much more pleasant than the summer months.

Winter, in Morocco, is usually quite cold especially later in the evening. But the skies remain relatively clear with light rain on some days. The spring is another great time to visit. The blooming vegetation accentuates the countryside and the neutral temperatures make walking ideal.
