Mount Etna Itineraries

This is a fabulous tour that packs in a huge amount very well. We really enjoyed visiting all the classical sites and all the local guides were excellent. Hotels were comfortable and well located. Our tour guide, Sue, was amazing with a wide ranging knowledge of the island, its history, its people and its cuisine. She worked really hard to ensure that everyone on the tour got as much out of it as possible. Highly recommended on every aspect.

The trip was, as described, full on. Each day was a new experience, temples, cobbled streets, volcanoes and more. The tour leader, Sue, made sure we all had everything we needed, have excellent information about what to expect and strove to ensure at had the best experience possible. Accomodation was good, great locations, clean rooms and decent breakfasts. I loved the visit to Erice, with its cobbled streets and wonderful atmosphere. The trip up to Etna was a highlight, worth getting the cable car and jeep ride if weather and Etna allow. Overall a fantastic trip, definitely wish doing if you want a snapshot of Sicily.

Good accomodation throughout. Tour leader went the extra mile for all of us. She made sure we arrived at all the sites early enough to visit without crowds, this was much appreciated. A big enough bus not to feel overcrowded. I would thoroughly recommend this trip to friends.

We had an excellent local guide (Lara) who was a fund of knowledge on the history, geology and botany of the area. The walks were well planned and full of interest, and the organisational arrangements worked well. Lots of highlights, including our wilderness picnic on the last day!
