Best Things to Do in Nairobi

We were always busy and seeing new things. Every day was full of new places and things to see and explore. You go home tired from this tour with lots of wonderful memories.

Coach broke down 3 times. Accommodations were Ok but there was no time in the schedule to enjoy them

Itinerary was full, so lots of re-packing the suitcase. There was one hotel that was not available (had been under renovation for two years), yet this was not changed in the itinerary. Also, one hotel (one of the nicer ones) was overbooked - so we had to stay one night in a much less accommodating hotel as a result and then pay extra for laundry because we had to rush it (would not have had to do this if we had the two nights in the nicer place). Trafalgar should have enough clout to have their guests have priority.

The only thing that upset us was the change in the resorts midway through our trip. Trafalgar should be able to secure the resorts that were promised before the trip. The substitutes were fine, but not what was promised.

We saw so much in our 14 day itinerary. There wasn’t much downtime but that’s exactly what we wanted. We loved the safari drives but also enjoyed going to the school in Nairobi and meeting the children and their incredible staff and also going to the Maasai Village and learning about their culture. Of course the main star was the animals and we saw so many up close. We were trying to think of animals we didn’t see and couldn’t think of a one.
