Patagonia: Journey to the End of the World by Globus

guide Sites are amazing, but tour ruins it

This tour has amazing sites, good hotels in great locations, great pace BUT the tour director that was assigned to be with our small group added nothing to the experience. He did not give us any info, tell us about what we were seeing, give us any info at all. The only time he talked was to tell us when the next bathroom break would be. Apparently this is common for Globus to use retirees starting another chapter. Our guide was 76 and had no energy. Travel with Gate 1 or Intreped.... guides can make or break a tour.

Patagonia Adventure by World Expeditions

This was a fantastic itinerary, capturing all the highlights of mountains, terrain and National Parks in southern Patagonia

Some hikes were challenging and shouldn’t be underestimated but were well worth the effort. The transport from Puerto Natales into Torres del Paine NP via the fiord ferry and zodiac up the Rio Serrano was a unique experience and a real bonus!

The whole trip was excellent, our guide was first class very knowledgeable about all sorts of things and managed our group extremely well, the food was very good as was the accommodation I hired a sleeping bag and that worked ok

We were very lucky with the weather which made a huge difference.

Our guide was Magnifico! Jorge anticipated all our questions and patiently opened up the Patagonia landscape

Camp sites were clean and inviting. The food exceeded expectations. Our group bonded so well. It was a wonderful way to make new friends and share amazing fotos.

Exceptional leadership from our tour leader Luciano Lanotti. Above & beyond always. Attention to detail first class. Knowledgeable, kind, and constantly looking out for our comfort and safety. All local trek leaders encountered were fantastic. Knowledgeable and engaging. Ira Musumeci Who was finishing up training with Luciano, will be an asset to Explore. Having her with us on the trip was an added bonus.
