AAR is a charismatic team, willing all the time to make you happy.

Good and safe guiding methods, catching and uncommon offer, memories of the very first rank.

Met them more than one year ago and kept on gathering incredible mountain experiences beside AA.

Nothing will stop me letting them continue to show me the world! They will not get rid of me easily :-)!

Professional guides, best team & atmosphere

Alpine Adventure Romania Company Reviews

5.0 January 2017 Recommend: Yes
I have traveled and climbed a couple of time with Alpine Team, in Romania and abroad (Bulgaria, Scotland, etc.). They are very professional and supportive - they were very helpful, especially when climbing in difficult conditions - winter climbing was excellent! Besides their profession organization of the trip, on the mountain tracks, they offered support whenever necessary - in equipment and as professional and human approach (practical lessons, excellent company). The Alpine Team and also their clients were an excellent and jolly company, also after climbing on the entire trip (very good selection of interesting, nearby places to visit, good accommodation and guidance and a lot of interesting information regarding the geography and history of the visited places, together with perfect knowledge of the specific mountains in a warm and pleasant atmosphere). I highly recommend the entire Team. Thanks Guys! See you in the next adventures! Read more

Great fun with an outstanding team

Alpine Adventure Romania Company Reviews

Oh what to say about this team? I traveled to Romania in January of 2016 and saw a picture of one of their climbs in Fagaras posted on Facebook. I met Nicusor, Felix and Oana and decided to go for a climb with them. At the end of the long weekend we were friends. I think friends for life.
This was not just a guided climb, but so much more than that. This was my first hike in Fagaras, in the dead of winter, in avalanche terrain, with an avalanche risk 4/5 announced for that weekend. We started our approach to the hut at about 10 pm, in the moonlight and I remember that it was a full moon and we were hiking with no headlamps. It was definitely a magical night. Next day we started our ascent to the ridge.
Well, the entire time that we climbed, Felix found the perfect way to encourage me when I needed it, to reassure me and to get me to keep going. We intended to reach Negoiu but decided to turn around because of the deep snow and difficulty in securing the route. Instead we went and summited ""Vanatoarea lui Buteanu"". It was one of the most beautiful climbs that I've done and we were rewarded with some world class views of the Fagaras ridge covered in immaculate snow, with avalanches going under our eyes.
In the evening we played sharades and told stories by the fire. I had absolutely no idea that I am in the mountains with a guiding service. It absolutely felt like I was there with some life long friends.
I stayed in touch with them and a few months later I was climbing Grossglockner I. Austria and Triglav in Slovenia with Felix. We had Grossglockner all to ourselves. What an incredible adventure. I learned a lot about alpine climbing and about myself on that trip, as we had to turn around without summiting because of an approaching storm and bad climbing conditions.
It isn't easy to climb with people that you don't really know well. But these guys are quite something. They are very good at what they do and they can make you feel like you belong there with them. At least they did that for me. We shall always be friends. And I will definitely go back to climb with them.
You will have a blast if you decide to go with this amazing group.
Miss you guys,
Gina

We are a small business based in Bucharest dedicated to creating unexpected beautiful outdoor experiences. We go up the mountains in any possible way (hiking, biking, climbing, skiing), in any season (warm or cold, with snow or without), on any possible terrain (slopes, walls, canyons, river valleys) and on any level of difficulty. You choose, We go!

For us, the MOUNTAIN is – no matter how you choose to approach it (in summer or winter, riding a bike, hiking, on skis or climbing) – : the landscape we just don’t get enough, the arena where we challenge ourselves, it is the way we learn geography, it is the risky environment we are sometimes afraid of and the maker of the will, it forges both our social and personal experience. Mountain is, first of all, passion. And, like all passions, it continuously transform ourselves into something better, or so we would like to believe.
