I enjoyed working with Tania from Machu Travel Peru over email prior to our trip to Perú. She was so helpful and very patient to help answer all the question I had. Our trip had no issues from start to finish. The tour guides provided were great also. Thank you!

I´ve learned so much about Peruvian culture and history. One of the best experiences was meeting all the people, like the Ecoamazonia lodge guide Elmer, Sol in Cusco!.

Dove in planning was super professional- called us all and was in regular contact with us.
Was very impressed by this. Our guides Whitney and Dan were excellent hosts that gave
us great insight and were constantly thinking one step ahead so we always knew what
we were doing. My suggestion is that the hike into the falls starts even earlier in the day.
I suggest we wake at 3am so that we are at the trailhead by around 6 and not 9. This
would give us some more time to play at the falls without costing us much seeing as we
only sleep at Grand Canyon Caverns Inn. The location suggested by the team was really
nice and our group dynamic worked really well. We had a stack of fun as a group. Our
guides helped foster this.

The meals were delicious and were prepared in a timely manner with great quality and
were way better than I was expecting. The guides (Jesse & Jason) woke up before
everyone and made sure food was ready for us when we were ready for it. They also did
great negotiating with some temperamental campers in the canyon!

control is the stray dogs in camp (belonging to supai village) I was bit on the way out

Many also have advanced certifications like Wilderness First Responder, Swift Water Rescue, and National Outdoor Leadership degrees.

International travelers eager to go beyond the regular tourist path, and learn about the incredible Southwestern landscapes of the United States, will enjoy the experience of an Arizona Outback Adventure Tour. Do note however that all tours are conducted in English.

Their family-friendly themed tours offer hikes and flexible activities that’ll be enjoyable for parents and children alike. It should be noted though that children ages 10+ with hiking experience will be the most suitable for these trips.

They’re reasonably priced in the mid-range, but they definitely aren’t considered a budget tour company. Trips vary from easy, moderate, to strenuous, but majority of them lean towards strenuous.

If you are the kind of traveler who likes being out in the elements, and a bit of dust and sweat on your shoes and clothes enhances rather than detracts from your vacation experience, then Arizona Outback Adventures are for you.

    Top Destinations

As the name would suggest, they specialize in Arizona, but they also expand into multi-day camping and backpacking trips among some of the most stunning national parks in the western United States. Arizona Outback Adventures Travel Style

Arizona Outback Adventures is all about being active and taking in the peace and serenity of nature. Tours are generally 3 to 6 days long, giving you ample time to explore the outdoors. Accommodation will be camping for the most part, but there are some trips that use lodges, dormitories, and hotels. Chosen camping sites include bathroom and shower access. Healthy meals are included in the tour price, which are cooked with kitchen gear that the guides bring along. For transportation, a van will be used at all times. Many of these rides will be long, perhaps up to 6 hours in the vehicle.

Why Choose a Tour with Arizona Outback Adventures?

If you are an active adventure traveler, you will love experiencing Arizona with the help and guidance of gear and active travel experts. Most of their travelers are independent minded, and they reflect this in offering a number of self guided options, especially in mountain biking. Some of their tours have a focus on environmental education for those wanting a deeper look at the ecological makeup of Arizona and the southwestern United States. It comes down to exceptional guides, knowledge, and a lot of outdoor fun.

Traveling with Arizona Outback Adventures may not be for you if you feel the need to be constantly connected to your electronics and have phone service at all times.. Many campsites have limited cell phone service, and the only electricity at the campsites is in the bathroom. Also, remember that these parks do get quite hot in the afternoon and you’re carrying all your equipment, food, and clothing on your back. You will have to also walk through uneven terrain and get sand and/or water in your shoes at some point. If you aren’t willing to be a little uncomfortable, these trips are probably not be for you. Most importantly, be honest with yourself about whether you are physically fit enough to fully enjoy these trips.
