I finished my 22 day tour from Darwin to Perth on the 1st September and I am still re-living every element of this extraordinary experience each day. I want to do it all over again straight away. Dan, our driver, guide and chef was an absolute gem. His energy and enthusiasm was infectious and he gave everyone the confidence to take on the challenging hikes we did throughout the breathtaking gorges and canyons of the Kimberley and Karijini. His support on these hikes was heart warming as it made it possible to do everything on offer.Swimming in the waterholes and showering in waterfalls was an absolute highlight. Dan ensured we made the most of every day doing more than was on the itinerary. Our meals were terrific - healthy, tasty and enjoyed by everyone in our group. I was amazed at the effort Dan made to provide for all of the special dietary needs of passengers. He treated everyone with kindness and patience at all times. This was only my second group tour ever and the first in Australia. I would highly recommend this tour as it is so much easier to sit back and enjoy the journey as well as the spectacular destinations. Not driving, meant I went to places I wouldn't have gone if I was in my own vehicle. The wonderful commentary and story telling adds to the experience. As an older passenger I wasn't interested in being on a tour with only retirees and older people. The mixed age group was an important element of its great success for me. I noticed that other tours, that are much more expensive, went to the same car parks and camping grounds but the passengers were not going as far into the gorges as we did. Often they were just going to lookouts and viewing from above. They may not have slept in swag's some nights but that was their loss too. Nothing like staring into the brilliant night sky. This tour was great value for money. If you're thinking about it just do it - I am sure you will love it.

Just got back from a tour in the Top End with the legendary Scotty ! Besides being highly knowledgable and passionate about the places we visited, this guy went above and beyond to accomodate everyone's needs. Including mine as a Kosher observant.

I'm really speechless. It was an amazing tour, seeing all the good spots the top end has to offer ! Thank you, thank you, will definitely recommend to a friend.

Just got back off the 3 day Rock to Rock tour and the worst bit about this tour is that it ended. I had the best timem my tour leader, B, was fantastic! She was so enthusiastic and happy about everything. Always smiling even at 4.45am. She got us pumped up about every activity and was a wealth of knowledge!
I took this trip as it was my nans dream and sadly she passed. I brought a photo of nan with me to get a photo of her and me at Uluru. I explained this to B and not only did she take a photo but she went above and beyond to make it special with different photo ideas, toasting nan and even pouring her her own drink! She spoke to and about nan as if she were. This trip was truly magical. Everything i could have hoped for and more. Betina is a true asset to your company and i have no doubt that this trip would not have been as good if it wasnt for her!

    About Adventure Tours Australia

In the early 90s Adventure Tours Australia was conceived, as a way to help new travelers to Australia visit the farther reaching attractions of the country, such as Uluru.

    What Makes Them Stand Out?

Culturally rich, adventurous tours and local expertise. They strive to show travelers “the real Australia”. They specialize in wildlife and indigenous culture tours. Their guides have a collective two decades of experience traveling around the the vast country, and it’s many different often harsh environments. Their tours are eco conscious, and almost all have an element of camping involved.

    Who Travels With Them?

Their trips tend to skew younger, especially given the two types of accommodation range from Camping to Basic. They often host families and single or solo travelers. No single supplement is required for those solo travelers open to rooming with someone of the same gender - if you prefer a room to yourself, they can often offer this for a supplement.

    Where Do They Operate?

Their tours operate throughout Australia, including Tasmania. They have multiple kinds of tour, including short breaks, overland, and city explorations.

    How Does it Work?

Trips fall under two main categories: “Basix” and “Original”. Each is fairly rustic in nature. Transportation is via 4WD or minibus. All trips are conducted in as eco conscious a manner as possible.

    Why Travel With Them?

They are perfect for young adventurous travelers interested in seeing Australia from a local point of view. If you enjoy camping, getting to know other travelers, and feeling completely immersed in your location, they are the tour company for you.

    About Epos Travel & Tours

Established in 2017, Epos is already impressing its customers with their tours. They’re located in the stunning and historic Peloponnese - a peninsula that lies in southern Greece. With numerous trips to choose from in this region, they're eager to show you just how much beauty lies in the land of Greek legends.

    What Makes Epos Stand Out?

All of the tour guides are local experts that were born and raised in Peloponnese, which means you’re guaranteed an authentic local experience.

Their tours range from popular sightseeing destinations to adventures off the beaten path. Choose from a trip around Athens and ancient Greece, trace the steps of Hercules and Zeus, or discover the unique beauty of the Underworld cave. They proudly emphasize eco-tourism by making sure their trips aren’t negatively affecting local communities, such as hiring staff from the villages.

Who Will Enjoy Traveling With Epos?

Travelers who have a sense of adventure and love diversity will enjoy traveling with Epos. There’s something for foodies, outdoor enthusiasts, and history buffs alike. These trips are made for those looking to be more cultural, historically, and socially enriched. On top of the activities, you’ll get to be in contact with local people since they emphasize cultural immersion.

They provide fairly priced tours, as they focus on getting people to explore. Considering their most expensive Epic Culture tour package is roughly $2,000USD, it’s a great value for money!

They don’t sacrifice comfort nor authenticity, plus the prices include transportation and accomodation!

Epos tours aren’t the most physically demanding, but will occasionally require you to be on your feet for a few hours each day. If you choose tours with a larger focus on exploring natural wonders and waterfalls, be prepared for it to be more physically challenging. Because of this, people from 18-30 will enjoy most of their tour packages. But that doesn’t mean they exclude seniors! Seniors can still enjoy the classic Greece trips and cruises, where most of the day calls for sightseeing, relaxation, and photography.

    Top Destinations

Epos travels exclusively around Peloponnese - an area that’s rich in history, scenery, nature, and culture. They have a variety of packages ranging from classic Greek destinations such as Athens and Olympia, to places more off the beaten path. It’s up to you to decide whether you want a tour that’ll have you exploring the classics, or the unknown.

Trips will be heavily focused on one or two of the following themes: history, religion, aquatic, and nature - although they do their best to give you a taste of everything.

    Epos Travel Style

Epos will book either a hotel in the 3-4 star range, or a rental apartment for your stay. Expect to sleep on double or twin beds, and rooms that won’t necessarily be considered luxurious. But they will be clean and comfortable by western standards.

They ensure that the accommodations they book promote eco-tourism - meaning lodges that only hire local staff, care for their surrounding environment, and use locally made products.

They believe in providing high quality tourist services in a responsible and honest way. If you’d like a mix of nature and culture, to be closely connected with locals, and trust that your tourism isn’t harming the area, then these tours are right for you.

You’ll be riding a private bus or car that includes air conditioning, comfy seats, large windows, and wifi. Depending on your tour, you may also find yourself taking the public railway train, or on a small private boat. Walking will also be a part of your everyday, with the duration depending on the chosen tour.

Choose from the 4 different tour styles they offer...

Epic Culture Tours: The perfect combination of classic and exotic destinations, Epic Culture tours are what they pride themselves in offering. Choose from 9 different multi-day trips, each one packed with history, culture, nature, and gastronomy. These tours are made for travelers that are restless and looking for something out of the ordinary. Their carefully selected places will take you off-the-grid, but still show you main areas as well. If you’re a food and wine lover, you’re in for a treat! Their handpicked taverns and wineries will show you the best that Greece has to offer, so you can expect genuine local quality.

More Tours: If you prefer to only see the classic attractions, More Tours is right for you! Choose from 6 different packages, each one between 1-4 days long. It’s a great way to see UNESCO heritage sites and key attractions, with the addition of taking you to see some beautiful natural landscapes.

Do It Your Way Tours: This is a great option if you are unsure of what tour is right for you, or you want to let them know what your interests lie, and have find the right trip or create an itinerary that’s perfect for you! Fill out a sheet indicating your travel preferences and interests, and they’ll get in contact with you.

Cruise Tours: If you’re the kind of traveler that prefers bottomless drinks, social events, and land excursions, consider choosing a cruise tour! In partnership with Celestyal Cruises, these cruises are great for those looking for a classic fun-in-the-sun vacation, with a touch of cultural experience.

Why Choose a Tour / Cruise With Epos?

If you want to have days jam-packed with adventure and exploration, you’ll love traveling with Epos. They make a genuine effort to show you places that are unheard of, share their historical knowledge, and do a wide range of activities. You don’t have to choose between a history, culture, food, or adventure-themed tour, because the itineraries cover all of the above.

That being said, that means that there is little time to relax and sit around. Reviewers mention just how many activities are done per day, and Epos said it themselves that they try to minimize bus time by stopping at various attractions and places along the way. Don’t expect to sneak in a midday snooze, or else you’ll miss something along the way.

They hope to take out the stress of planning out your day and things to see, so do expect all activities to be fully arranged and organized for you. If you’re the type that likes to have a day for yourself to explore on your own, you may not want to travel with Epos.
