Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary by cruising on Queen Victoria San Francisco to Sydney in 2013. Fantastic introduction to cruising for my wife and a most lavish experience for both. Cunard staff were/are friendly, welcoming, great customer service and the food- brilliant. We enjoyed the lectures - very interesting- I am still recalling to friends the many anecdotes quoted in the lectures we attended, and the evening entertainment was first class.Read more
We have sailed with other cruise lines but not 6 star like Cunard.
We are celebrating big birthdays next year so trying QM2 this time. Can't wait. Counting down to take off.
We are sure we'll receive courteous service, first class dining and entertainment again.
Well done Cunard.

Just off a 12 night Caribbean adventure and QM2 was even better than its legendary reputation. The ship is gorgeous and in fantastic condition. The food was delicious and service attentive and professional. The staff and crew were simply superb. As a veteran cruiser, I didn't think I could be blown away, but I was. QM2 and Cunard are the most famous names on the high seas for good reason, they are the best at what they do.Read more

Having experienced various other cruise lines including Princess and P&O a number of times, we thought we should try Cunard. My wife and I and another couple booked a 2 week cruise in the Summer on the Queen Victoria. In general we enjoyed it , but the entertainment was poor and one of the members of the entertainment staff was rude to us when we asked why the masked ball finished just as we got there after we had just finished dinner. She broke about 5 of Cunard's 12 ‘rules’ during that conversation and frankly we were all shocked at how we were spoken to. We also didn't get the full amount of online credit that we expected, based on initial conversations with our travel agent and the fact that we paid the full cruise price during the 175th Anniversary year. The onboard shows were well below the standard we are used to seeing on a cruise ship and some of the guest entertainers were particularly weak. One comedian was the worst I have ever seen and the speakers/lectures on the Queen Victoria were boring. So overall it was a disappointing experience and as far as we and our friends were concerned (and others we heard discussing the same issues) we don't plan to repeat the experience.Read more

We chose Annapurna Base Camp because the trek has a lower risk of altitude sickness that Everest Base Camp.Read more
The trek was still quite challenging with many mountains to climb over (the guide called them hills ha ha) before we eventually started to follow the valley line up the mountains towards Base Camp. The accommodation was pretty basic (tea houses) in each village we stopped and the temperature kept getting lower the more we climbed. But once we got to base camp the view was amazing and we were so glad that we decided to do this trip. It was pretty hard, but the memories of being surrounded by some of the tallest mountains in the world was worth all the effort.
I would recommend that trip to anybody with a moderate level of fitness

This trek is definitely worth it. It might take a week to trek from start to finish but it is worth every step. The day we got to the base camp was very difficult but only because it started the hail, then snow in the last couple hours of trekking. Apart from that the trek was amazing. The views were amazing and I got to see thing i never would have at home.Read more

Now celebrating its 175th anniversary, Cunard, headquartered in the UK, is best known for its transtalantic crossings and its three luxury ocean liners, the Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mary 2, and the Queen Victoria.
All three liners also do world voyages.
The Queen Mary 2 has completed more than 200 transatlantic crossings, and, as Cunard proclaims, "Is the Grandest Way to reach England." (Or, if crossing from east to west, the grandest way to reach the U.S.)
