I was very excited to support a Canadian company, but unfortunately, this trip was anything but blissful.

The tour guide was unprofessional, incompetent, and inappropriate. He was reported in the middle of the trip because of how vulgar he was being with the girls on the tour. Guided tours are supposed to be a haven for young, solo travelers and, unfortunately, this tour was the nightmarish opposite. If you plan on booking a trip with this company, please dig into who your guide will be, how many trips they have done, and what kind of reviews they have had.

Additionally, the accommodations, activities, and transportation included in this trip cost a sliver of what I paid. I completely understand the additional cost of paying the full-time guides, and the price of convenience that comes from a trip being planned for you, but unfortunately, I did not get my money’s worth with LBW.

Following my friends and my dissatisfaction with the tour and the inappropriate guide, LBW’s customer support team was unfortunately slow to respond, disorganized, and inconsistent with their suggested solutions.

Please, save your money, and book with another company.

Amazing people that will show you around the best parts of beautiful places. The guides are extremely helpful, the tours and activities maximize all the great times you'll be having. Beyond that, the company gives back to the communities that they visit, try to educate you on the culture, and leave nothing besides footprints. Only the best things to say about LBW.

Life Before Work Travel is hands down my favourite travelling company. Anytime anyone I know is talking traveling I refer them to LBW. Why? It's plain and simple, the company as a whole treats you like family. I have done Yacht Life Turkey& Greece as well as Island Life and both tours where some of the best experiences of my life. The tours and chosen activities are very thought out and have been refined for everyone of all travelling experiences. The tour guides are extremely helpful and really make you feel safe and secure, and inspire you with confidence to really get the full experience no matter what you are doing! I can't wait to book my next trip! Thank you LBW

This trek is definitely worth it. It might take a week to trek from start to finish but it is worth every step. The day we got to the base camp was very difficult but only because it started the hail, then snow in the last couple hours of trekking. Apart from that the trek was amazing. The views were amazing and I got to see thing i never would have at home.

We chose Annapurna Base Camp because the trek has a lower risk of altitude sickness that Everest Base Camp.
The trek was still quite challenging with many mountains to climb over (the guide called them hills ha ha) before we eventually started to follow the valley line up the mountains towards Base Camp. The accommodation was pretty basic (tea houses) in each village we stopped and the temperature kept getting lower the more we climbed. But once we got to base camp the view was amazing and we were so glad that we decided to do this trip. It was pretty hard, but the memories of being surrounded by some of the tallest mountains in the world was worth all the effort.
I would recommend that trip to anybody with a moderate level of fitness
