We were booked for an Italian Adventure in Capri and were booked at the Camp Santa Fortunata in Sorrento which turned out to be a nightmare. We paid for an upgrade and the cabin we were placed in had no air conditioning, windows had no mosquito net, the bathroom had no toilet paper. I have contacted them for a refund, of at least the upgrade that we paid, and they have refused. We ended up having to book a hotel in Sorrento because we just couldn't sleep at the cabin they placed us in.

We hated the accommodation and their communication was poor and underserved to their clients.

We booked early and got a great deal at the TNT Travel Show in London. Most of our accommodation we booked at either hotels or AirBnB. Loved that fact that we could be flexible, go off route for a few days then jump back on again. The guides, drivers and booking staff have all been amazing. Did some of the optional extras and loved them all. I can't recommend Busabout enough. So much that we have done a tour with them and will be doing 3 more next year.

We did 2 festivals with Busabout and I'm not quite sure what we actually paid for...

Both tours were marketed as '4 day tours' (La Tomatina & Oktoberfest) - despite check in on 'Day 1' not starting until 2pm, and 'Day 4' ending at 8am - really a 3 night, 2 day tour. On the 2 days of the tour, the guides didn't do much guiding - they jumped on the bus, maybe said 3 sentences about the festival we were going to, told us what time to be back on the bus and that was it. Oktoberfest is actually free entrance, so literally all we paid for was accommodation and breakfast - not sure a 6 bed dorm is worth approx. $100aud each per night.
Breakfast on our first tour was simply toast with strawberry jam, the worst coffee in the world (or tea) and juice. Our second tour's breakfast was actually quite good which was surprising - although they took us to oktoberfest so early on the first day that breakfast actually wasn't open yet so we missed out. The optional activities sound exciting but you would be better off paying to do them with a different company who might actually tell you about the places you are going to.
All in all, we could have booked the same accommodation ourselves and booked day tours with companies who actually know what they are talking about for less money and a better experience overall.

"This Peru travel agency planned and booked a custom trip for me and my wife to Peru in October 2015. The trip included a short stay in Lima, and almost a week in the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco. Their service was outstanding. The planning for the trip was perfect, and we relied entirely on them as we had not been to Peru before. They also went beyond the call of duty by getting a reservation at a good hotel in Lima even though there was a huge convention of the world bank in town at the time. They persisted until they found a cancellation. they even booked two good restaurants for us in Lima. The guides they provided were also excellent, including one who was truly outstanding.

I never would have located this company except through Zicasso. Two years ago we made a trip to Brazil and we looked and looked for a travel agency of this kind and never did find one. I would highly recommend using Zicasso to find the appropriate agency if you are traveling somewhere that you have not previously been to, or if you do not have an agency you are satisfied with."

Our trip to Peru was planned perfectly, thanks to our travel agent! He was quick to respond to all of my needs & was very flexible. The hotels and the guides he arranged were great! We couldn't have asked for or imagined a better experience in this magical country!
