"This Peru travel agency planned and booked a custom trip for me and my wife to Peru in October 2015. The trip included a short stay in Lima, and almost a week in the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco. Their service was outstanding. The planning for the trip was perfect, and we relied entirely on them as we had not been to Peru before. They also went beyond the call of duty by getting a reservation at a good hotel in Lima even though there was a huge convention of the world bank in town at the time. They persisted until they found a cancellation. they even booked two good restaurants for us in Lima. The guides they provided were also excellent, including one who was truly outstanding.

I never would have located this company except through Zicasso. Two years ago we made a trip to Brazil and we looked and looked for a travel agency of this kind and never did find one. I would highly recommend using Zicasso to find the appropriate agency if you are traveling somewhere that you have not previously been to, or if you do not have an agency you are satisfied with."

My mother and I travelled to beautiful Tuscany, Italy in Nov. 2016 to celebrate my 40th birthday.
I was looking for an opportunity to learn what it FEELS like to live in Italy, rather than just see the sights (which ARE wonderful and amazing!). We booked the cooking/food tour with Caspin Journeys and I could not have been more pleased with my experience.
We began each day of our Tuscan adventure in the beautiful Nobile guest house relaxing with great coffee and delicate pastries from a local bakery. Each day we were guided by either Pino or Antonio & Simona to new towns to view the architecture, hear the stories of old, and learn about the treasured foods and wines. We stopped for Cappuccino (only before noon!) and espresso in the afternoon. We dined in wonderful restaurants filled with the local people, trying something new every time.
We would have a small respite upon coming home to the Nobile guest house. When Luca (our Master Chef) arrived, we could either enjoy watching him at work or dive right in to learn how to prepare some of Tuscany’s finest foods. These evenings were so fun while cooking, feasting, drinking great wine, and enjoying the company of the Nobile family.
For the week I spent in Italy, I felt well-guided, indulged, enlightened, and most importantly welcomed by this great Italian family … it was a trip my mother and I will never forget!

I thought they did a terrific job in accommodating us and ensuring we had a good time! I would like to take another trip with them. I even feel confident that if I asked them to design a trip different from the current trips they do.....would be excellent too! They are a lovely couple and I always felt very safe traveling with them.

      About Lost World Adventures

Founded in 1987, Lost World Adventures offers private and customized trips to South and Central America and Antarctica.

      What Makes Them Stand Out?

Your guide will get to know you before beginning to plan your customized experience. If you want to have a relaxing beach vacation, they can arrange that. Or if you’d rather hike up the adrenaline, they are able to offer that as well.

      Who Travels With Them?

They accommodate anyone from honeymooners to large groups. Trips are generally in middle price range - you won’t find tremendously budget items here, but they do their best to craft a trip based on all factors, price included.

      Where Do They Operate?

They are focused in South and Central America, with a variety of trips from beach vacations to Costa Rica, food tours in Argentina, or Machu Picchu adventures. They are also among the few small companies providing cruises to Antarctica.

      Why Travel With Them?

For the variety of trip type and theme you can choose from. They have food and wine tours, adventure tours, beach getaways, and cruises - all of which are customizable to your likes and dislikes. If you’d prefer not to overly customize, they have pre-set itineraries as well.

      About Caspin

Founded in 1992, Caspin Journeys has a unique spin on travel, offering immersive and comfortable walking tours in England, Spain, and Italy.

      What Makes Them Stand Out?

They design their tours to be relaxing yet energizing as you walk among historic lands, learning about the culture and background of classic regions of Europe. Tours are scheduled during the peak weather months for walking and all logistics are taken care of, leaving travelers free to just enjoy. They often focus on culture, history, culinary and wine experiences during their walks.

      Who Travels With Them?

Their trips are best suited to active travelers who don’t mind walking long distances. Tours are divided into 5 broad Activity Level ratings, beginning with Easiest, Easy-Moderate, Moderate, Moderate-Strenuous, and Strenuous. For every tour they suggest doing at least a little bit of training to prepare and get the most out of your travel experience with them.

      Where Do They Operate?

Their tours are specifically focused in England, Spain, and Italy. In each country they have multiple options - for example in England they have a Cotswolds walking tour, and a Lake District walking tour. In Italy they visit several specific areas, from the Amalfi Coast to Tuscany and Umbria. And in Spain they offer a walking tour in Picos de Europa and along the legendary Camino de Santiago.

      Why Travel With Them?

For a unique view from traveling on foot through gorgeous landscapes, and the ease and peace of mind from known all logistics are taken care of. No need to book accommodation or worry about meals. Tours are offered in multiple activity levels, so if you are unsure that a walking tour is right for you - this would be a great place to start off on an easy level - flat surfaces and trails. Their moderate and strenuous tours will be appealing to travelers more experienced on walking tours - between 6 to 8 hours of walking and more challenging and rugged terrain.
