I had an accident on Tuesday and had complete extensive tear of meniscus that will require surgery. Emailed Grand American Adventures to ask for a transfer of my spot on the Grand Canyon and Zion walking trip in November 2017 to April 2018. All I got was “100% no refund. Hope you get a speedy recovery” in every email response I got. I wasn’t even asking for a refund, just company credit for a later trip.
I chose to pay $2,700 for an 11 day walking tour with them because they are a British company and I had faith in the way the Brits run things. Turned out the “cannot cannot” attitude and lack of flexibility the way things are done is rampant in Blighty. I would never recommend this company to anyone no matter how amazing their trips might sound. There are hundreds other American companies that cost much less and are willing to transfer clients’ spots for medical reasons on credit. #donotjoin #grandamericanadventures

White Water Rafting Grand Canyon - 8 day trip. An excellent trip even if you have never been camping before. Each day creates a new enjoyment as the Camaraderie and Experience evolves day by day. If you can travel in large group then great but if not single traveling is fine, I was a single traveller myself.

Not long back from our hiking tour of Northwestern Parks tour. Started in Seattle and ended in San Francisco. Took in Mt Rainier, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Jackson, Ruby Mountains, Lake Tahoe and Yosemite to name but a few. What an amazing trip. Fantastic tour guides too, thanks to Mike and Seth, who made the trip even more enjoyable (if that was possible). Great fun getting back to living under canvas and mucking in with all the chores. Met some great people too. Highly recommend this tour. It builds to one of the greatest experiences you could wish for - and that is the utterly amazing Yosemite NP. It should be made Federal Law in the USA to make it compulsory for everyone to visit this awe inspiring place before they die. We have never experienced anything like it before. Thank you to all for making our inaugural trip to the USA such a wonderful experience.

"This Peru travel agency planned and booked a custom trip for me and my wife to Peru in October 2015. The trip included a short stay in Lima, and almost a week in the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu and Cusco. Their service was outstanding. The planning for the trip was perfect, and we relied entirely on them as we had not been to Peru before. They also went beyond the call of duty by getting a reservation at a good hotel in Lima even though there was a huge convention of the world bank in town at the time. They persisted until they found a cancellation. they even booked two good restaurants for us in Lima. The guides they provided were also excellent, including one who was truly outstanding.

I never would have located this company except through Zicasso. Two years ago we made a trip to Brazil and we looked and looked for a travel agency of this kind and never did find one. I would highly recommend using Zicasso to find the appropriate agency if you are traveling somewhere that you have not previously been to, or if you do not have an agency you are satisfied with."
