11 days of pure bliss. Hands down the best trip of my life. Went with friends from college but left with 40 new friends and one incredible Greek tour director. Best bang for your buck out there. All accommodations and travel included in the price. Highly recommend for 20 and 30 year olds if you like the beach, boats, and drinking!Read more

Overall the trip was phenomenal. Guided tours in each city come included along with tram/subway passes. Our tour guide got too involved in the group drama which brought down the experience a little bit, but it was a 5 week tour. Transportation between cities was the thing I’m most critical about. We took trains and planes in the beginning, but half way through we switched to busses. We could have saved several hours if we continued using trains. Also, most of the hostels and hotels are outside the city center. You have to take the tram or bus every time you want to get into the city center. I could have done it for slightly cheaper on my own (not including the guided tours in each city) but I would have stayed closer to the bars and nightlife. Having everything planned out for you in a foreign country where you don’t speak the language was also a great thing. Overall, although there were a few flukes, this trip was incredible.Read more

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY
Does Not Recommend
DO NOT use this travel agency! 0 star. We had so many issues on our trip that was supposed to be a trip of a lifetime for my boyfriend and I. All started as soon as we landed in London, and the agency was 4 and half hour late to pick us up. They never answered calls while we sat there waiting and even there "emergency" line went to voicemail. It was impossible to get ahold of them to find out when or if we were getting picked up from airport like supposed to. We were told unlimited usage with cards for subway system at each location. That was untrue, we had to put our own money on subway cards after only riding on the subway a couple of times. The hostels are nowhere near the action/touristy places. Windows that do not open, no AC. The so called extra "excursions" to pay for you can do yourself for half the price. I calculated out the cost of everything the trip pays for and compared it to what we paid for trip and they have an outrageously greedy profit margin. Use a local travel agent in your town and pay 100 dollars to set everything up for you. You are getting completely ripped off by this company that is supposed to cater towards young adults. Their "tours" of the city they will tell you are 4 or such hours long when in reality each of our tours were 1.5 hours. After getting back from trip I called the company to talk about how disappointed we were, and were completely talked down to, each personnel would take shots at our intelligence, condescending and blowing off our concerns entirely. It took an entire week for me to get a call back from them to talk about a resolution to all the things that went wrong. Their answers to the huge airport was that it was our fault, I actually had a panic attack at the airport which I told them and they responded with " well alot of people have panic attacks and did you take your medication" . We had several long distance international calls that added up to over 50 dollars because we were trying to get ahold of them while being forgotten in foreign country. They denied every single we brought to their attention. And after that we were offered a measly 26 dollar refund. And this post has only touched the surface of all the issues with the trip and with the contacting of EF and how they treated us. We are so disappointed and upset that we went through this company for our trip and used a company that disregards mental health and a company that has ZERO care for any of its clients.Read more

My friend and I recently traveled to Nepal from the United States and had an amazing experience trekking to Annapurna Base Camp with sunrise adventure travel! We met Suresh in Kathmandu and he was incredibly helpful in setting up our trek and accommodation/activities in Pokhara post trek. Our guide, Palman (aka Paul) was amazing as well!! He was knowledgeable, patient, trustworthy, and kept us laughing with his hilarious sense of humor (which matched our own spot on!). Everything worked out exactly as Suresh promised that it would and he checked in before and after the trek to make sure that we were pleased with how things were going. We definitely felt that we were in good hands with both gentleman and would highly recommend Sunrise Adventure Travel. The prices were very fair and our experience was unbeatable. Thanks again, SAT!Read more

Newly rebranded as ‘EF Ultimate Break’, EF College Break has been a leader in educational tours, language services, and study abroad experiences since 1965.
EF stands for “Education First”, and they have been offering educational travel experiences, exchange programs, work and teach abroad assistance, and language courses for over 50 years. They focus on making sure the often daunting and complicated process of planning an abroad experience, whether for pleasure or a career change, remains as simple as possible.
Their travel experiences were named EF College Break, this name changed to EF Ultimate Break in 2017, reflecting a fresher more youth driven outlook, and seemingly placing less emphasis on the education aspect and more on the fun aspect.
Their tours are about being completely immersed in your destination and appreciating all it has to offer with your tour group who are guaranteed to become your good friends by the end. This is like a study abroad journey with all the fun and none of the schoolwork.
This is the kind of trip that active outgoing, social college aged adults interested in learning and having fun will enjoy. If you have a “work hard play hard” kind of mentality you will fit in well with their approach to traveling.
EF Ultimate Break specifically caters to 18-29 year olds (though the broad spectrum of their educational programs are open to adults and working professionals). Their main target being 18-29, tours are designed to not be price prohibitive, itineraries include a lot of social activities, and the emphasis is on having fun and staying active, with a sprinkling of educational value thrown in for good measure. Enough for you to maybe convince a parent to put up some of the cost.
Incredibly studious types who gravitate to history tours, archaeological sites, and long moments in each stop learning from a guide may want to check around first before settling on EF Ultimate Break. One of their mantras is “we don’t do boring” and let’s face it museums often fall under that category.
The emphasis is on being active, seeing and doing a lot - both on the historically significant side as well as the locally immersive side (which in this case might mean your bunkmates are frequently sampling the nightlife).
There is a strong emphasis on Europe for EF Ultimate Break, though they do offer group travel experiences around the world. In Europe they cover many popular countries in Western and Central Europe, including Iceland and the UK.
In Central America, you can find trips in Cuba, Belize, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Panama, and in South America they have departures to Peru, Ecuador, and Argentina. In Asia, EF Ultimate Break has tours in China, Japan, Thailand, and Vietnam. Lastly you can also find tours in South Africa, and Australia and New Zealand.
Tours are designed to be easy to pay for using installments; and they have a few different payment plans to choose from. You can choose from 1-2 week, 2-4 week, and 4+ week durations, and filter by a variety of trip type.
While on your tour: Accommodations are standard and basic. Think multi-bed hostel rooms more than hotels. A variety of transportation modes will be used, from private motor coach to train to bicycle.
Your Tour Director is a local, ready to introduce you and welcome you to their home - acting as a tour guide and friend.
If you’re a college aged adult looking for a stress free and adventurous tour experience, EF Ultimate Break could be the perfect choice. This is for the type of traveler for whom backpacking through Europe sounds fun, but you’d rather do it with a little less stress, a little more companionship, and the guarantee of a hot meal and drinks with friends. But the adventurous backpacker spirit remains.
Not only that, but they provide generous payment plans, and almost everything is included making it really hard for you to make the excuse that an awesome travel experience is out of reach financially. They want you to see the world, have fun, and provide many ways to make it happen.
