Twiga Tours are indeed "the fun people to safari with". My wife and I enjoyed an exceptional bespoke safari honeymoon experience. The Manji family took incredible care of us. They booked everything and took care of all the details from beginning to end. We received an overwhelming welcome, phenomenal hospitality, and exceptional service. From the airport tranafer upon our arrival to the breathtaking balloon experience over the Mara, the knowledgable guides and the the amazing safari vehicles, if you're going to do a once-in-a-lifetime safari, you can't afford NOT to have Tioga Tours arrange your special safari. I can't speak for other tour operators but I can honestly say that TT's 35+ years of experience makes them the best choice for your safari adventure. Well done Twiga team and asante sana.

Recently booked a safari using their website.
The agent that handled my family's booking was extremely efficient and friendly. All the camps and hotels that were recommended and booked were perfect for our needs.
The airport welcome was out of this world. What an excellent welcome and introduction to Kenya.
A big thank you to the entire Twiga Tours Team

I have known the Manji family and Twiga Tours for many years. A solid family business where every client is important. Great personal service, either you want an expencive luxury safari, or a more budget friendly experience. The Twiga family is there for you. Highly recommended.

I was very impressed with the Family Adventure company in terms of the holiday delivered which was exceptional. The booking and pre-holiday experience was fine although it would be better to have a specific contact to email rather than just to phone the general number with queries.

Booking and customer service were good. From a child's perspective

Booking and customer service were good. From a child's perspective, FAC were not as welcoming. Another company we have travelled with sent a welcome pack with a travelling companion (soft toy) and activities to do while travelling. When on the holiday this company also catered more for families needs e.g. more frequent stops when travelling for food and toilets, without parents having to ask. The stops were also at more sensible times e.g. making sure there was a stop at lunch time (12.30ish), rather than early afternoon (1.30 onwards). Children (and adults) get irritable if they've not eaten making the journey more stressful.

      About Twiga Tours

Founded in 1980, by a local father son team Twiga remains a top safari tour operator in East Africa.

      What Makes Them Stand Out?

Their expert knowledge and extensive experience in the travel industry have given them an edge in East Africa travel and safari experiences. Their high caliber personalized attention and repeat visitors every year speaks for itself. Other than the wildlife experiences, they also provide unique local connections allowing travelers to learn about the cultures and customs of the local tribes.

      Who Travels With Them?

Travelers seeking a classic safari tour in East Africa. This is where many first time safari goers head, and their background matches this quite nicely. Safaris can be comfortable for multiple age ranges, but especially with Twiga where personal touches inspire repeat visits especially from older travelers and families.

      Where Do They Operate?

They focus in 4 key countries: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda.

      Why Travel With Them?

Their attention to detail and making sure each individual guest is taken care of helps keep them at the forefront of this classic travel experience. Local knowledge and connections as well make them a great place for those wanting a relaxed journey to see incredible wildlife and enjoy the African landscape.

      About The Family Adventure Company

Founded two decades ago and based in the UK, The Family Adventure Company specializes in small group family adventure vacations. The company is now part of the global adventure travel operator Intrepid Travel, and trips are offered through Intrepid as well, allowing them to greatly expand their range.

      What Makes Them Stand Out?

With more than 20 years’ experience, The Family Adventure Company helped pioneer the concept of small-group adventure travel for families with young children. Activities are wide-ranging, from river rafting and kayaking to cycling, sailing, camping, and wildlife viewing, all geared to the ages and interests of the family travelers.

      Who Travels With Them?

A wide variety of families, including solo-parent, single-child, multi-generational families -- parents, children, and grandparents traveling together -- and families with teenagers. The latter have dedicated trips of special interest to teens.

      Where Do They Operate?

Much of the world: Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.

      How Does it Work?

No matter where you travel, The Family Adventure Company provides an English-speaking, family-friendly local leader. Lodging, transportation and activities are also included. Tours typically consist of three or four families with kids of similar ages or interests. (You can also put together your own trip with just your family or other families you’re friendly with.) Children 14 and under get a ten percent discount off adult prices; large families (over two kids) get another price break.

      Why Travel With Them?

The award winning company offers a wide range of trips for a wide variety of families. Because they only cater to families, they know what kids like – and as any parent can tell you, nothing is more disastrous than a family tour not geared in any way to kids. The company also supports responsible and sustainable travel practices and gives back to local communities.
