Honest review - Austin Adventures is awesome. To be honest i read some of the negative reviews and it use to be years ago that if someone was upset they would talk to the owner and the owner stood by "the customer is always right."

Leads me to believe that all these negative reviews on ANY business is more than likely a competitor!

So I say that anyone writing negatives is not a real customer or maybe they are a snowflake that doesn't have enough testosterone to confront the owner.

I have never had such an amazing experience as with Titan Travel. It has been the best experience that I've had with a tour operator. Their travel agents were really good and I'm booking with them again for sure.

There were so many highlights almost too numerous to mention.

The guides, three local and one from Titan, were all informative; so knowledgeable, giving us insights into the history, society and lifestyle of Vietnam and its people. We visited many places of interest, some of great beauty, In particular the cruise along Halong Bay and a tour of the spectacular Halong Caves.

The many hotels we stayed in ranged from good to excellent, and the organisation of our very busy schedule was faultless. All in all the holiday of a lifetime!

About Austin Adventures

Founded in 1974, Austin Adventures specializes in unique cultural and adventurous travel around the world. The company is now under the umbrella of the Xanterra Parks and Resorts Corporation, which runs lodges in numerous U.S. national parks.

What Makes Them Stand Out?

They are a classic example of the word “adventure” not meaning intense high adventure like bungee jumping, but more like the adventure a safari would be, or glamping along the Inca Trail. They have a mantra of “spend less, travel more,” and offer many different ways you can find discounted trips. Their maximum group size is 12 people, and they split their itineraries into “Adult Adventures”, “Family Adventures”, and “Custom Trips”.

Who Travels With Them?

Families, couples, small groups of friends, and solo travelers will find something to enjoy in browsing their itineraries. Older travelers especially may enjoy the balance of luxury and outdoor activity.

Where Do They Operate?

Austin Adventures has a large offering of trips in North America  as well as itineraries in Europe, Central & South America, Africa, and Asia. You'll still find plenty of offerings in the U.S. West -- from Yellowstone National Park to the Black Hills of South Dakota -- but now you can also go hiking in Patagonia or join a desert safari in Namibia.

How Does It Work?

Austin Adventures limits their tour groups to 12 on Adult Adventures and 18 on Family Adventures. Accommodations are authentic and provide a real sense of the destination you’re traveling to, such as national park lodges. Most meals are included in the price of the trip apart from one, which adds a bit of flexibility. All of Austin’s guides are first aid certified and experts in their given region.

Why Travel With Them?

If you’re looking for an active or multisport trip but don’t want to ‘rough it’ too much, then Austin Adventures might be a good fit for you. Although you travel with a small group, they focus on making sure the pace of the tour allows for you to experience what you’re interested in. And if you’d rather not travel in a group, they can also help you design a custom private itinerary for you and friends.
