    About Rainforest Cruises

Gulfport, Florida-based Rainforest Cruises is a conservation-minded agency specializing in small ship cruises on the Amazon River in three South American countries, as well as Galapagos Islands cruises.

    What Makes Them Stand Out?

They have a narrow focus, are experienced in that niche, and can offer expert advice to help you choose your Amazon or Galapagos cruise.

    Who Travels With Them?

With so many options in price, style of ship, and destination, Rainforest Cruises appeals to any traveler of any age or budget who wants to visit the Amazon or Galapagos by small ship or riverboat.

    Where Do They Operate?

Primarily on the Amazon in Peru, Brazil, and Ecuador, as well as cruises in the Galapagos Islands. They have a minor presence in Panama and Bolivia.

    How Does It Work?

They feature four styles of riverboats and cruise ships: comfort, superior, luxury, and charter; suitable family and honeymoon choices are also noted. Comfort is the most basic level, while luxury vessels have the most amenities and largest cabins. You can charter a ship in any category at additional cost. Choose your cruise from among 25 ships in the Amazon region, 12 in the Galapagos and one each in Panama and Bolivia. The vessels range from houseboat-style to sailing ships to sleek yachts.

    Why Travel With Them?

Rainforest cruises makes it easy to find the Amazon or Galapagos cruise that’s right for you.  All their ships are pictured on their website and categorized by style. You choose your destination and ship, with their advice if needed. You can also book land tour extensions through them to places like Machu Picchu and Iguazu Falls, or a stay at a jungle lodge.
