My trip to Scotland was amazing! There was something for everyone to enjoy. From the beautiful landscapes, sheep everywhere, botanical gardens, Queen's yacht & palaces, to beautiful old world cities and castles. We also toured a whisky distillery and St. Andrews golf museum, even a cruise on Loch Ness! The Scottish food and drink was delicious. I especially enjoyed exploring the old city of Edinburgh with its architecture and history, as well as the castles. Our tour supervisors were organized, knowledgable, friendly and helpful. They even made our longer travel days more enjoyable with games and fun facts. We had great guides and our driver for the week was fantastic. I am definitely going to continue to use them for my travel needs. I highly recommend this trip to everyone!Read more

They specialize in designing budget conscious tours and cruises for handicapped travelers, with a focus in Europe and the UK.
What Makes Them Stand Out?
Started as a passion project when the founders realized very few affordable resources existed for planning travel for handicapped individuals. All destinations, hotels, and planned activities are heavily researched and vetted to ensure they meet the required standards for accommodating travelers with handicaps, including wheelchairs. Small group tours are their focus, however if this isn’t for you they also provide the resources for booking independent travel.
Who Travels With Them?
Their tours are specifically designed for travelers who need special assistance, are handicapped, or have limited mobility. Groups are kept small, between 8-15 people, allowing for individualized attention. Tours are also affordable, opening up travel experiences to more budget minded groups.
Where Do They Operate?
Currently tours and cruises with The Relaxed Explorer are centered around Europe. Scandinavia, the UK, Central Europe, and the Mediterranean specifically.
Why Travel With Them?
If you or a family member is handicapped and you have been frustrated in the past with travel planning, The Relaxed Explorer will help alleviate the stress of piecing together a trip. You’ll have the comfort of knowing each destination and hotel is carefully selected specifically for travelers with physical disabilities. All the exhaustive research is already done, and you can be free to enjoy the travel experience.
