Sadly, this was the most underwhelming tours I've ever booked. Despite it being one of the most expensive tours in Cambodia, the accommodations and activities were not in line with the price.Read more
Dave, our main guide, is an awesome dude and I'm sure he'll do well given a bit of time. However, he had never been to Cambodia!
The tubing and wakeboarding, as well as other activities were not included as advertised, nor was there an option to pay extra to do them. The tour makes it appear a lot more food is included than it is and the suggested places to eat were overpriced for the most part, probably due to the lack of experience of our guides.
No one picked me up from the airport and the tour seemed very disorganized. We only met our guides on the 2nd stop for instance. Luckily I did have a good time. The other people on the tour were great, although many do share my opinions of TruTravels. As said, the guides were good guys and this should not be reflective of them.
My expectations were higher due to this being one of the more expensive trips in Cambodia. I feel ripped off. No exaggeration: I spent less per day in New Zealand than I did in Cambodia. I emailed the company these opinions prior to leaving this review and I found the response very dismissive.
If the tour interests you, you can do it on your own way cheaper: Book 2 nights at each Mad Monkey hostel (that's all the tour is) and find your own transportation to each place. It's cheap and easy to do. You'll save at least half the cost of this tour and probably find better activities for cheaper on your own. It's a pretty easy country to navigate.
I question the legitimacy of some of their reviews online. Most people on my tour have also been in contact with the company to share their disappointment.

Can't decide which part was the best part of the journey; the sleeper train adventure (better than The Darjeeling Limited), the amazing tour guides --all American, Canadian, and British, the Khao Sok National Park (water so blue, and so secret, it felt like The Beach), or the hookups at the Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan. Everyone had a great time! Thanks Joe Fallon! You run a really tight ship!Read more

Trutravels did an awesome job and our tour leader Mickey was the absolute man! Happiest person on earth and so fun to be around.
Highly recommend it and would love to come back for another trip in the future!

We chose Annapurna Base Camp because the trek has a lower risk of altitude sickness that Everest Base Camp.Read more
The trek was still quite challenging with many mountains to climb over (the guide called them hills ha ha) before we eventually started to follow the valley line up the mountains towards Base Camp. The accommodation was pretty basic (tea houses) in each village we stopped and the temperature kept getting lower the more we climbed. But once we got to base camp the view was amazing and we were so glad that we decided to do this trip. It was pretty hard, but the memories of being surrounded by some of the tallest mountains in the world was worth all the effort.
I would recommend that trip to anybody with a moderate level of fitness

This trek is definitely worth it. It might take a week to trek from start to finish but it is worth every step. The day we got to the base camp was very difficult but only because it started the hail, then snow in the last couple hours of trekking. Apart from that the trek was amazing. The views were amazing and I got to see thing i never would have at home.Read more
