Our History NVT was born with a determination to provide world-class mountain
adventure from the heart of the Himalayas. More than two decades back, when
Devendra Wagle stepped into the tourism sector of Nepal as a young man, tourism
sector was budding but far from professional. He realized the need to add
professionalism to the tourism products Nepal makes. That realization gave birth to
Nepal Vision Treks and Expeditions. It took a while for us to get going. As we grew, we
started to better understand the needs and demands of adventure holiday seekers
around the world. We started to better understand the core essence of our mountains
and the people that live there. We gradually learned the importance of sustainability and
community values while conducting our treks and expeditions. As we moved, every
learning opportunity helped our organic growth. Now, more than two decades, NVT is
among the leading mountain holiday providers in Nepal. We have proudly assembled an
experienced and dedicated team of mountain guides, porters and other staffs whose
passion is to improve the quality of Himalayan holidays. Any obstacles could not put us
down. Even during the decade-long Maoists insurgency in Nepal, we kept going. And
after the recent April 25 earthquakes, our determination to provide safe adventure
holidays in Nepal has only been stronger.
