Snow Africa Adventures

Snow Africa Adventures ltd is an official registered and licensed tour company based in Arusha Tanzania. The company was founded by native Tanzanian Florent Ipananga. He has a long story behind before he started his own tour company. He was born and raised in Central Tanzania. When he was in high school his best and favorite subject was Geography. As Geography was in his blood, he had a passion of meeting different people and learn different cultures from all over the world. He knew that to make his dream true he had to work in tourism industry. After he finished high school, he moved to Arusha town and joined a tour Guide College. He studied wildlife for more than two years untill he graduated.

At that time it was not easy to become mountain guide or safari Guide right after college. This is because one needs more training to know the trails and gain some experience. He decided to work as a Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru Porter for one year to accumulate more training and experience. Kilimanjaro Park Management offered Mountain guide training for 2 weeks. He attended training and passed the examination. Kilimanjaro Management gave him a senior official License to lead Tourists on Mount Kilimanjaro.

From there he started working as a Senior Mountain guide. After 5 years he also started to work as Safari guide, that was after he knew how to drive. He Worked at different tour Companies for 13 years. After he was experienced enough he opened his own tour Company on 2008.

After few years of operation, Florent and his wife Caroline (who has been leading the office) they have managed to get small and big tourist groups every year for both safaris and mountain trekking.
