I was strategically looking for a high solitude, fun, adventurous, nature explosion, llama led, recharging, decompressing, tasty morsel, glamping vacation. I got every bit of that!!! The Wild Wyoming trip in mid-July brought perfect weather, ongoing rivers, streams, creeks, beautiful views from Hoback Mountain (and all along the way), two waterfalls, colorful flowers, wildlife, fire pit time before bed, and AWESOME guides (Alex & Grace). So happy with Wildland providing us a WONDER-FULL vacation! It exceeded my expectations!

Kayaking and backpacking in the Smokey Mountains with guides Francisco and Ben was life changing. I’ve always wanted to get “off the cut” but didn’t trust my gear or my skills. This is the perfect setting for someone like me. My gear kept me dry during the most amazing rain storm ever and the guides cooked meals that were tasty and nutritional. The best part of my trip was when our guides shared their knowledge and stories of backing packing on various trails. So much knowledge in one spot. I am still in awe!

2019 Summer: Our Best of Yosemite 5 Day Hike was super enjoyable and the views were amazing. Our Guide Carmelina knew Yosemite like the back of her hand, we saw all of the main attractions and a lot of hidden gems as well. She even got us reservations in the Ahwahnee Lodge for dinner one night which was super special. Be prepared to hike a lot! In total we logged 95,000 Steps and just over 45 miles, ALL of it worth it.

2018 Summer: Our 3 Day hike through Havasupai Trail was incredible. Our guides Tom and Ryan did a great job keeping us fed, setting up an awesome camp, and taking care of any minor scratches that happened. Will definitely use Wildland for future hikes.

Fantastic experience on the Best of the Grand Canyon inn-based hike tour. We enjoyed all aspects of our time and felt safe with our experienced guide. We would do it again in a heartbeat! Experiences such as these are what makes for self-development, reflection, and contentedness in the midst of a physical challenge! I loved the advice regarding preparation prior to the trip. The staff was very helpful from the time of booking through the last minute of our trip. FANTASTIC, thank you Wildland Trekking!

I cannot say enough great things about Wildland. The staff was SO helpful leading up to our trip. I am the one with a million questions and not once did anyone act frustrated. I spoke to one employee (Shane) on the phone for over 30 minutes. He was so helpful as I was preparing and packing for my trip. Then, things got even better when we lucked up with Dara Kelly as our guide. She was AMAZING! She was knowledgeable, super friendly and quite the chef too! Anything we needed, she was there. After we made it to camp one day, Dara asked and let us decide as a group if we were up for an optional hike out to Plateau Point. We were all in and excited for side hike. I am so thankful for this as it was my favorite part of the entire trip! Dara packed up her backpack and cooked dinner for us out there. It was awesome!! I will definitely book our next hiking trip through Wildland!

Our family used Wildland Trekking for a day of hiking in the Rocky Mountains. Emily our guide did a great job listening to our requests and took us on two beautiful hikes offering us up high and down low views. Without the knowledge of Wildland Trekking we would have never hiked the Ute Trail. Absolutely incredible experience with lifetime memories.❤️❤️

Where does my trip begin and how do I connect with my guide?

When you register for a hiking trip you will receive an information packet that details when and where you will meet your guide and group for a pre-trip orientation. For multi-day hikes, this meeting normally takes place in the evening the day before the start date. At this meeting you will prepare for your upcoming adventure.

Where should I leave my car and/or luggage?

Many of our guests leave their vehicles and luggage at their hotel while they're in the backcountry. We also have offices with attached warehouses in Flagstaff, Arizona and Bozeman, Montana; you're more than welcome to leave vehicles and luggage at one of these locations if you're doing a Grand Canyon, Havasu Falls or Yellowstone Tour. Please note: if you're leaving a vehicle, it will be parked on the street in front of the warehouse, and we don't take responsibility for its security.
