I am not sure what others experience with this company. My wife and I have booked a trip to Thailand and Burma for 10 days. The agency charged us about 950$ a day just for hotels, guides and internal flights. As soon as we paid, problems started: the agent switched hotel to a cheaper one (3 stars). This was just the start in we're only in day 3 of our trip: the hotel room was wrong - the hotel had to scramble in the middle of the night, the agent booked a full day trip within a few hours after we got off a 21 hour flight for no apparent reason, we're currently sitting in 3rd class on the train without AC because apparently almost a thousand a day can't get you a driver in Thailand, did I mention a 6 hour layover on new year eve at the local airport with nothing to do?
The only time they were quick to reply when they needed a credit card number. I sent them an email a few days but no one bothered to reply, including supposedly 24 hour reply center.

A truly memorable holiday which ran like clockwork from start to finish. Kangaroos, wallabies, Koalas and sea-lions on Kangaroo Island with knowledgeable guides, wonderful, fresh local food and wine and great hosts at our accommodation. More kangaroos and beautiful mountain walks up in the Grampians national park then the stunning scenery of the Great Ocean Road. Christmas in Sydney - rainforest canopy walk in the Lamington national park - before New a Year on The Gold Coast - above and beyond everything we hoped for - well done Audley!

Although we started our plans a year in advance, several problems/errors on their part were only recognized and "fixed" 3 weeks before we left. Specialist help was sporadic, employee turnover is a problem and actual time in office is limited. Great place to work because management will support you no matter how badly you mess up and you don't actually have to go to work! Price of trip doubled from initial inquiry and cost was outrageous. Our best days were our free days or activities we planned ourselves. Mistakes were made with flights, hotel reservations, and transports between places. Emergency phone number to contact Audley didn't work! Although we made the best of the situation and managed to have a great time in spit of Audley's planning and choices, I would NEVER recommend them or travel with them again. As experienced traveler, I expect more from an agency then price and service we received from Audley..

I want to thank Audley, and in particular Holly Wheawall, for helping to create a dream holiday to Cambodia for my partner and I last year.

Not only was Holly very knowledgeable, but she was very supportive in ensuring that everything was how we wanted it. It was also good to hear from her upon our return to the UK, to see how things went and to discuss any potentials for improvement next time.

Whilst there is a cost attached to these tailor-made trips, to my mind our last trip was worth every penny, and we will certainly be coming back to you again to arrange further holidays for us.

We came across Audley Travel when looking to book our honeymoon in 2012. Alex was fantastic. Great to have someone call you and chat instead of just communicating by email. He put together a fabulous two centre stay for us in Morocco. Firstly at Kasbah Bab Ourika and then at La Sultana in Oualidia. Both places were heavenly!!! The personal touch provided by Alex and Audley was great. So good in fact that we're coming back for seconds and I've just been on the phone to Kate to talk about Bali. Very excited to see out itinerary!!!
