We had a wonderful time in Colombia! The mix of locations were wonderful - from modern & lively Bogota, to historical old city of Cartagena, to the secluded beaches of Tayrona NP. All our transfers ran like clockwork, and our guides were fun, knowledgeable, and easy going. To top it off - we got engaged on the trip! Truly one for the books. :)

Initially told the tour I wanted was fully booked. When I said this was not as shown on the company's website, the tour consultant checked with a colleague to find that nought did not mean there were no places left, but meant none had been booked! No wonder there were no bookings if people were being told it was full!! Consultant also misunderstood the number of add on days requested and got invoice figures back to front for correct days. Clearly a bad hair day. However apart from that, the consultant was very helpful and readily sorted out the problems & kept me well informed & up to date.

One of our party is unable to take up her holiday and we wanted information from Cox and Kings. Our senior tour consultant was away from the office and out of office email message asked us to use the address 'sales @' . Five days have gone by and still no response. We would have expected better service than this.

Small mistakes made on Invoice and we were asked to provide information, which had already been provided.

Generally found the whole booking process a little laboured and not quite as friendly as some other companies.

Once again, our booking experience with Cox and Kings, this time a tailor-made safari-trip to Tanzania for two adults and two children, has been first-rate. We have nothing but praise for the charm and efficiency of the representative who dealt with us. We had the feeling of being known personally and having every detail taken seriously.
