  • Explore Tenerife’s Mount Teide, Lanzarote’s lava-formed Cueva de los Verdes and the Maspalomas dunes on Gran Canaria
  • Madeira’s reputation as the ‘Garden Island’ well founded, swathed in lush greenery which bears all manner of tropical fruit
  • Beloved for its beaches, Tenerife also offers a feast for the eyes – in its numerous art galleries and museums or an incredibly panoramic cable car ascent of Mount Teide
  • The Canary Islands have some of the most striking and diverse scenery of any islands on earth: dry volcanic deserts, a snow-capped mountain, lush fields with banana and pineapple plantations, plus spectacular beaches.

Your 12-night winter sunshine cruise first reaches garden-like Madeira. Further south, you can explore Tenerife’s Mount Teide, Lanzarote’s lava-formed Cueva de los Verdes and the Maspalomas dunes on Gran Canaria. Vigo, close to Santiago de Compostela, and Lisbon lead you home.

Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary by cruising on Queen Victoria San Francisco to Sydney in 2013. Fantastic introduction to cruising for my wife and a most lavish experience for both. Cunard staff were/are friendly, welcoming, great customer service and the food- brilliant. We enjoyed the lectures - very interesting- I am still recalling to friends the many anecdotes quoted in the lectures we attended, and the evening entertainment was first class.
We have sailed with other cruise lines but not 6 star like Cunard.
We are celebrating big birthdays next year so trying QM2 this time. Can't wait. Counting down to take off.
We are sure we'll receive courteous service, first class dining and entertainment again.
Well done Cunard.
Happy cruisers

Just off a 12 night Caribbean adventure and QM2 was even better than its legendary reputation. The ship is gorgeous and in fantastic condition. The food was delicious and service attentive and professional. The staff and crew were simply superb. As a veteran cruiser, I didn't think I could be blown away, but I was. QM2 and Cunard are the most famous names on the high seas for good reason, they are the best at what they do.

Having experienced various other cruise lines including Princess and P&O a number of times, we thought we should try Cunard. My wife and I and another couple booked a 2 week cruise in the Summer on the Queen Victoria. In general we enjoyed it , but the entertainment was poor and one of the members of the entertainment staff was rude to us when we asked why the masked ball finished just as we got there after we had just finished dinner. She broke about 5 of Cunard's 12 ‘rules’ during that conversation and frankly we were all shocked at how we were spoken to. We also didn't get the full amount of online credit that we expected, based on initial conversations with our travel agent and the fact that we paid the full cruise price during the 175th Anniversary year. The onboard shows were well below the standard we are used to seeing on a cruise ship and some of the guest entertainers were particularly weak. One comedian was the worst I have ever seen and the speakers/lectures on the Queen Victoria were boring. So overall it was a disappointing experience and as far as we and our friends were concerned (and others we heard discussing the same issues) we don't plan to repeat the experience.

What a shame. Queen Mary 2 didn't live up to expectations. The room service was sub-standard,3 days before I received a shower cap, 2 days before we received bath robes. The food was sub- standard, 7 o'clock in the morning ,coffee machines empty, no knives in the Kings Court. Waiting for an hour to get on the tender boats. We had a family emergency and had to cut our cruise a week short, staff could not care less, no sympathy at all and without any credit our room was rebooked even before we disembarked. Anyway we are very very disappointed.

We sailed on 'Queen Elizabeth' last week to the Fjords and what a memorable experience it was. Once again the staff onboard were fantastic especially Bernadett (Dette) who looked after us mainly in the 'Garden Lounge' nothing was too much trouble she's a real credit to Cunard. Also a big thank you to Lyubov who looked after us and kept us entertained. Finally Virna our stateroom stewardess made sure our room was to the highest standard every day. Thank you Cunard.
