A family trip of fun, bonding and adventure through the major destinations in Thailand. You will get to visit temples and palaces, have fun doing many things together like a cooking class or a canal adventure. Itinerary

Day 1: Bangkok arrival

VIP Meet and Greet with Fast Track Service on arrival

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met at air-bridge and be escorted to immigration counter without queue, our staff will carry luggage at luggage belt and bring you to meet your English speaking driver for a transfer without guide to your hotel. Check in time from 14.00. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Bangkok Morning city tour

Meals: Breakfast

8.30 AM - Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Wat Po in time to experience the monks early morning chanting ritual (chanting starts at 9am). One of the oldest temples in Bangkok, Wat Po is home of the famous 45 metre reclining Buddha as well as being the original school of traditional Thai massage. Continue to The Grand Palace, the most important and impressive royal palace in Thailand. Your guide will show you the palaces used for different occasions – the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and of course the mysterious Emerald Buddha, the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. Appropriate dress is required (or can be rented on site).

The afternoon is free to relax (no guide, no transfer) Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Canal adventure by local boat - Chiang Mai

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

This morning, after breakfast, check out the room and leave your luggage at the hotel.

Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and start your day tour.

Browse a local morning market and historical site from Ayutthaya period in the Banyan Tree Temple (Wat Sai) which the temple structure is covered with colorful ceramic tiles

Visit the ”Mouth of the Canal Temple” (Wat Paknam - newly became a Royal Temple) to see the one ton gold statue, crystal pagoda, and a skyline view of old capital, Thonburi City

Visit a “Forest Temple” (Wat Pa Chaeng Lane) to learn forest monks' life style.

Lunch stop at a quiet canal side market, enjoy local Thai meal

Visit an orchid and pandan nursery in lush greenery

Arrive at the Artist's House in a 250 years old community, currently going through revitalization by locals

Return to the hotel around 3PM for a short rest. Our English speaking driver will meet you at the hotel lobby for the transfer to the airport for your flight to Chiang Mai. Arriving in Chiang Mai, our guide will escort you to the hotel for check in. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel in Chiang Mai.

Day 4: Chiang Mai - Patara Elephant Farm Joining Tour

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Patara Elephant Farm.

Briefing on history of domestic elephant in Thailand.

Arrive at the farm. Make registration. Get change to our training outfit. Prepare for training.

Training session includes, hiking to find the elephant in the bush. Learn about elephant farm management and our breeding program. Train to approach and be near elephant. Learn to observe elephant temperament. Introducing to every of our elephants. Morning feed. Daily health care for elephant. Pregnancy test for elephant and care taking for mother with small baby. Train to unchain and walk your elephant to the river. Learn about elephant skin care and bath your elephant in the river. Instructed training to get on the elephant neck with difference technique, sitting on the elephant, basic riding skill and spoken commands for elephant Practice on getting upon and coming down from the elephant.

Bare-back riding session. Practice on easy riding trip within the farm.

setting off for a long uphill trip to visit waterfall for picnic lunch and refreshing in the water with your elephant.

Elephant riding trip back to the farm for evening feed.

Farewell and photo taking with your elephants.

Transfer back to your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Pantawan joining cooking class – Sunset at Doi Suthep & private monk blessing

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

After breakfast, private transfer with guide to have a cooking class at Pantawan Cooking School. Discover the great experience of cooking Thai food and just how unique Thai Cuisine really is. Our experienced instructors will be teaching you in an old Thai house classroom which will allow you to experience the real ambiance of traditional Thai, whilst you cook.  The program starts with a tour at the local fresh market. There, our instructor will teach you the techniques of how to choose the perfect ingredients for your Thai cooking lesson. When we arrive at the school, our staff will welcome you with a welcome drink and a cold towel for refreshment. Our chef will then demonstrate to you how to cook each meal before you get a chance to cook by yourself at your own wooden station. All your dishes will be served at the table where you can enjoy our beautiful garden whilst having your delicious meal!

After that, you will drive up the mountain to Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, the temple on the mountain, and the most sacred in North Thailand. Your experienced guide will explain the story of the temple, the white elephant and lead you around its impressive chedi and show its beautiful murals. In the late afternoon, the tourist masses have already left the temple grounds and dusk will give a very special atmosphere. After your private blessing ceremony, witness the magical evening chanting of the monks. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 6: Chiang Mai - Flight to Phuket

Meals: Breakfast

This morning is free until the right time, you will transfer with guide to the airport for the flight to Phuket. Check out time until 12.00PM. Arriving in Phuket, you will take a private transfer with guide to the hotel for check in then free. Check in time from 14.00. Lunch and dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Phuket - Khao Sok - 500 Rai

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

From 06.00 - 06.30, you will be picked up from your hotel for a joining transfer to Surat Inter Tour office where you will be welcomed and start your tour. After that, continue for a drive to Chew Lan Lake. On your way to the lake, drive past scenic mountains and rural villages.

About 10.45, you will depart from the pier for a scenic boat ride to 500 Rai. On the way, visit the limestone formations of “Chiew Larn Lake” - jagged limestone peaks jutting from the emerald waters toward the blue sky.

Arrive at 500 Rai floating resort at 12.30, you are welcomed by the friendly staff then have a delicious lunch at the “Ta Lay Nai” restaurant - savory Thai soups, fresh fish, and fruit. After lunch, spend the afternoon enjoying the heart of nature – you can go swimming, explore the surroundings in a kayak, or simply relax and bask in the atmosphere.

In the late afternoon, you may enjoy the optional activities as below (booked with the resort locally)                

Hike to the Tarzan Viewpoint.

Explore a cave such as Coral Cave.

Dinner is served in an exquisite atmosphere before returning to your room and sleeping soundly under a starry sky.

Day 8: Khao Sok - 500 Rai

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Enjoy your breakfast as the morning mist plays above the emerald waters.

You will explore a cave such as Nam Ta Lu Cave

Lunch will be yet another mouth­watering meal at the Talay Nai restaurant.

You have some free time to relax then at 16.30, we go looking for wildlife by boat into Klong Saeng Wildlife Sanctuary – this is one of the best opportunities in the world to see wildlife, so be on the look­ out for elephants, wild bison, sambar deer, and even Tapir.

Late afternoon, back to floating resort for sunset and happy hour at 18.30.

Your day ends with a dinner at 7PM including options of fresh fish, Thai curry,and stir­fried vegetables. With a full belly and happy heart, sleep well after an adventurous day.

Day 9: Khao Sok - 500 Rai

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

After breakfast and some time to ponder the slow life, at 09.00 we will splash about Pad Sian waterfall.

Enjoy your lunch at the Talay Nai restaurant around noon, then be ready to head to Coral Cave for an easy hike and a fascinating exploration of the underground world.

Back to resort for sunset and happy hour then dinner at 19.00 with options of fresh fish,Thai curry, and stir fried vegetables. With a full belly and happy heart, sleep well after an adventurous day.

Day 10: Khao Sok - Phuket (Breakfast, Lunch)

Dawn is the most beautiful time of day on the lake. Watch the sun rise over the mountains as the mist floats across the water. Or sleep in and let the sounds of the jungle wake you up.

Morning wildlife safari – cruise the jungle shore in a boat look for monkeys, hornbills, gibbons, and other wildlife in the rainforest canopy.

Enjoy your breakfast and relaxing moments then check out from your room, board the longtail boat, and cruise back across the reservoir with panoramic views of the limestone mountains.

Return to the pier, transfer onward your next destination.

You will have a great lunch at local restaurant then return to Phuket hotel for check in then free. Dinner on your own account. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Phuket - John Gray's sea canoe by Hong starlights (Joining)

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

The morning is free.
