The cycling ends in Bassano del Grappa, back in the Veneto region.

Meet the group late morning for a transfer to the tour starting hotel to fit bikes, relax at the pool over a light lunch, and have a test ride together. The ride takes you to a group wine tasting at Dante Alighieri's eldest son's estate. Enjoy a visit of the estate which has been in the family for 22 generations and a tasting of the fine Amarone and Valpolicella wines. Return to the hotel for an elegant dinner tonight.

Continue your journey along the Valsugana bike path enjoying stunning views, and WWI forts that overlook the valley. You'll slowly emerge from the narrow valley to reach the town of Bassano, with its iconic wooden bridge across the river. Bassano is a key producer of grappa and there are several distilleries in town. Tonight we'll enjoy a special feast in celebration of our week together biking northern Italy's bike paths.
