I want to mention the booking of my flight through gadventures. It ultimately affected my WHOLE trip. It was brutal. I went from Seattle to Houston then to Newark NJ and had to take 4 trains to make it to JFK airport. When I asked to have it changed before hand they said they couldn't do it. I have always used gadventure booking flights but I probably won't in future. My overall experience was OK. The title "natural highlights of costa rica" meant to me that I could enjoy the nature, scenery and other adventures. The flight did put a damper on my anticipation. Annika's initial loud and abrasive presentation was off putting, which she toned down later, took away from the beautiful and calm place that represents Costa Rica. It would have been nice to have had her husband give the tour instead. I heard many amazing things from the other group and how he was so knowledgeable about local flora and fauna. I am still committed to gadventures and travelling with you. This was not my most favorite trip but the people on the trip were amazing and I have formed new friendships and life long buddies. Could you please provided feedback to me on some of my suggestions. Thank you

I read Bruce Poon Tip's book, Looptail and it inspired me to try G Adventures. We really liked the experience, especially being immersed in the local culture of Costa Rica. The tour took away some of the potential 'stresses' of travel like driving in foreign countries, not being able to speak the language if you needed, not knowing where to stop for bathrooms or gas, food, etc. And because of that, it allowed us to relax and take it all in...and more! The experience was incredible. We will do it again...the hard part will be trying to choose where!

Traveling via gadventures maximizes my vacation enjoyment. I'm able to do more than I could do on my own. I don't have to worry about what hotel to book, how to get from point A to point B. The CEO always has a list of actives to pick from and knows what interesting restaurants to try. Gadventues provides a hassle free adventure vacation. May 2015

I've been on 8 trips with Gadventues. I tend not to go back to the same place for vacation; But, I've now been to Costa Rica twice because it is the most active adventure place I've ever been. I'm sure I'll return again someday.

Some of our Independent trips are designed differently and single travellers on these itineraries must pay the single trip price.

Meals

Eating is a big part of traveling. Travelling with G Adventures you experience the vast array of wonderful food that is available out in the world. Generally meals are not included in the trip price when there is a choice of eating options, to give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat. It also gives you more budgeting flexibility, though generally food is cheap. Our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There is no obligation to do this though. Your CEO will be able to suggest favourite restaurants during your trip. The above information applies to G Adventures group trips. Please refer to the meals included and budget information for included meals and meal budgets.
