As my first YOLO G Adventures tour, my expectations were exceeded. Very well planned, decent accommodations, fairly budget friendly. Our CEO was amazing and added so much to our experience. May 2015

This tour, although short, was fantastic. I felt I was able to experience Thai culture in Bangkok and enjoy relaxation on the beach all in one trip. The pace of the trip was set well for my liking and I felt there was always something to do. I met amazing people, ate at local restaurants and stayed in accommodations that did the job for a night or two. My CEO was absolutely fantastic and would recommend her to anyone. My only issues with the tour was the Bangkok Centre Hotel and the lodge in the National Park. Aside from that, I will recommend G Adventures and the Southern Thailand Sojourn to all my friends and family!

The tour was amazing and had such a personal feel to it. Despite being a big group, you had a lot of free choice when it came to deciding what you wanted to do and our leader Sombat was very accommodating. May 2015

When I signed up to my g adventures tour I was a little apprehensive - traveling alone for the first time in a foreign country. Two weeks later I sit and write this with a massive smile on my face, knowing it was the best decision I ever made. The group was varied and a great way to make some lifelong friends. The tour kept us on our toes, not stopping in one place long enough to get bored, but not moving too much that you left exhausted. From sleeping on a train to snorkelling in Koh Tao I had the best two weeks ever and my only compliant would be that it was all over too quick. A big thanks to our CEO Sombat, our driver Mr Boy and to the rest of the group for making this an adventure I will never forget. Can I press rewind and do it all again now?

Eating is a big part of traveling. Traveling with G Adventures you experience the vast array of wonderful food that is available out in the world. It also gives you more budgeting flexibility, though generally food is cheap. Our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each others company. There is no obligation to do this though. Your CEO will be able to suggest favorite restaurants during your trip. Included breakfasts will usually be Asian style consisting of noodles or rice soup or bread and eggs. Vegetarians will be able to find a range of different foods, although in some areas the choice maybe limited. While trekking in remote regions food is included, plentiful and made of fresh local ingredients. Our philosophy of travel is one of respect towards everyone we encounter, and in particular the local people who make the world the special place it is.
