Short Description

Muktinath Temple Tour is a religious tour. Where there is a religion, there is a history. Undoubtedly, Muktinath is one of the gateways to one of the famous religious places of the Hindus. In the eyes of the Hindus, and from the perspective of the Hindus, Muktinath is worth exploring. Muktinath a religious tour, it won’t be wrong at all. Just like the Hindus, the Buddhists hold the Muktinath in a high esteem. Located in the district called Mustang, Muktinath, the temple, has bountiful, natural beauties.

Altitude wise Muktinath is located at 3710 m. and distance wise it is 48 km away from north east of Jomsom. Muktinath is little visited by the tourists in comparison to Everest.

Small groups are usually defined as between 10 and 24 travelers, often less. If you're the kind of person who enjoys more intimate experiences and personal service this is a good choice. All else being equal you will pay a premium for this style vs a larger group tour.

Itinerary

Day1 : Arrival day, transfer to hotel

Welcome to Kathmandu, the city of temples. Our airport representative will receive you at the airport, transfer you to the hotel and brief you about tomorrow’s activities. If you have any questions, then please ask to a representative. Overnight at hotel.

Day2 : Kathmandu valley sightseeing

After breakfast, our city guide will take you to the monuments and places that come under the category of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu. You will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you might see "Kumari", the living goddess, as well as visit pagoda style temples. After that you will visit Pashupatinath temple, one of the biggest and popular Hindus temples of Nepal, and thousands of devotees visit this temple every day. You might see cremation taking place on the bank of the Bagmati River. From here, you move towards Bouddhanath stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world where over 50 Tibetan Gompas or monasteries are located.

Day3 : Drive to Pokhara

Today, after breakfast, you drive to Pokhara, following the Trishuli River. Pokhara is one of the cleanest and the most beautiful cities of Nepal. Also known as the city of Lakes, Pokhara offers the spectacular view of mountains, namely Annapurna, Mannchapuchhre, Manalsu, and Dhaulagiri. The places that you can visit in Pokhara are David falls and Mahendra cave. Overnight at hotel inclusive breakfast.

Day4 : Early morning fly to Jomsom & trek to Kagbeni about 3hrs.

After breakfast, you will fly from Pokhara to Jomsom by the snow-covered peaks, such as Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. You will feel at the cutting edge, that is, when you see these scaling peaks rising, and when your unexpected eyes encounter the depth of the world’s deepest gorge. Windy Jomsom is different, and from here you attend to Kagbeni by trekking. At an altitude of nearly 3000 m, Kagbeni is located at a perfect destination with the backdrops of mountains and deserted hills, unexpectedly different, and a remote place like this is always looked down, but occasional night in such a place is inarguably like having a wonderful feeling. Overnight at a guesthouse - breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day5 : Trek to Muktinath visit around, overnight Hotel

After breakfast, you will ascend to a dramatic height of 1000 m as you reach Muktinath, which is a famous pilgrim place for the Hindus and the Buddhists. Today’s itinerary takes you to villages, such as, Khungar and Jharkot; the trekking route may be grueling but this last village has a stimulating fortress. Following the on-going trekking route, you will keep on walking to Muktinath, where the hotel may not be that cheerful. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Day6 : Visit Muktinath temple and trek back to Jomsom

Today’s chore will be to explore the area and see an eternal flame. For the Hindus, the importance of the shrine is a bit different. Hindu Vashanavites consider the Muktinath shrine to be one of the eight most sacred shrines on earth. They consider the Muktinath to be one of the 108 holy places where a person should worship lord Vishnu.

Day7 : Early morning fly back to Pokhara, transfer to hotel

After breakfast, you take a morning flight to Pokhara, 20-minutes. If you don’t want to stay night at Pokhara, it is possible to head off to Kathmandu by air or by local bus or private car on this day.

Day8 : Drive back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, you will drive back to Kathmandu along the bank of Marshyangdi and Trishuli River. These two river are biggest river of Nepal and famous for white water rafting. Back to the hotel for overnight with farewell dinner and breakfast.

Day9 : Fly back to your home

Our airport representative will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the airport in a private car. You will reach the airport before 3 hours of your departure time.

My trip to Nepal was such a sudden one, only four days before the departure day. Luckily, I met this Tour and Travel Agency. Ganesh really helped a lot. Our tour guide, Ramesh, also very helpful. Our purpose of visiting Nepal was to see the Buddhist sites. Both Ramesh and Ganesh were very helpful. There were two sites that werent on the Tour List, but they were willing to accompany us there. This impressed us a lot. Thank you so very much to Ganesh and Ramesh.

I had a wonderful experience with Glorious Himalaya tours -- I planned one trip initially, had to cancel, then was able to plan a different, shorter trip within three days of starting. Ganesh was extremely friendly and helpful and arranged everything quickly and competently.

What was more impressive was the continued follow-up throughout my trip. Ganesh made a point to check in daily to make sure things were going well and see if I needed anything else. Even after the tour was over, he kept checking in to make sure I made it home safely. As a solo female traveler, it was so comforting to know that I had someone I could reach out to in Nepal if I ever needed help or advice. If I ever get to go back, I know who I'm contacting!

We booked a trekking through Glorious Himalaya on short notice. They arranged us a guide and porters as well as the plane tickets to Lukla quickly. Communication was clear, fast and reliable - something we cannot say from other agencies we have tested. Also the pricing was fair. Glorious Himalaya understood our needs and organized a very reliable and friendly guide and very friendly porters which was especially important since we were traveling with two kids. The guide Dak Man and three porters Ramzi, Eka and Karna especially looked for the safety of the kids at all times which we really valued a lot. At the same time they gave us a good introduction into the local culture and customs. They were always on time and reliable. Eyerything worked out smoothly and we had a great time enjoying the spectacular views in Khumbu.

We did customized 13 days Everest base camp trek with Glorious Himalaya Trekking team and it was really an awesome trip in our life. We were 4 friends from Australia and booked our Nepal trip through online with Glorious Himalaya, we found them very professional and reliable as well.

During our 13 days trip, the weather was excellent with crystal clear mountains views from Kalapather view point. We had hot meals with warm accommodation during our trek. Our guide Ram was very helpful, reliable and knowledgeable. And the porter were enough strong to carry the loads on our entire trip.

Eventually, we don't hesitate to recommend Glorious Himalaya Trekking team for your remarkable holidays in Nepal. They are very professional and quick on response.

Cheers and see you guys next year again in October.

Regards,
Kimber
