Today make your own way to your gateway airport for your overnight flight to Europe. Enjoy inflight meals and services on your flight.

Day 2: DUBROVNIK ARRIVAL (B)

Dubrovnik’s nickname is also the "Pearl of the Adriatic" and is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site since 1979. On arrival at Dubrovnik International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check in.

Overnight in Dubrovnik

Day 3: DUBROVNIK (B)

Dubrovnik, considered by many as the proudest feather in Croatia’s tourist cap, an elite destination and one of the most beautiful towns in the Mediterranean. The old city is encompassed by medieval walls, which have been preserved in their original form. Dubrovnik was known as the Republic of Ragusa in the middle Ages and became the only Adriatic city-state to rival Venice. Supported by skilled diplomacy and wealth, the city developed remarkably quickly, particularly during the 15th and 16th centuries. This morning enjoy a tour with your local guide. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Overnight in Dubrovnik

Day 4: DUBROVNIK MOSTAR SPLIT (B)

This morning after breakfast depart for Split. En-route visit Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina recently included in UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage. Mostar is on the banks of the River Neretva and is certainly one of the most beautiful cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Tour on foot its elegant Bridge, Old Bazaar and Mosque. In the 1990s conflict, most of the historic town and the Old Bridge, designed by the renowned architect Sinan, was destroyed. The Old Bridge was recently rebuilt and many of the edifices in the Old Town have been restored or rebuilt with the contribution of an international scientific committee established by UNESCO. The Old Bridge area, with its pre-Ottoman, eastern Ottoman, Mediterranean, and western European architectural features, is an outstanding example of a multicultural urban settlement. The historic town of Mostar, spanning a deep valley of the Neretva River, developed in the 15th and 16th centuries as an Ottoman frontier town and during the Austro-Hungarian period in the 19th and 20th centuries. Later drive to Split and check in at your hotel. Overnight in Split

Day 5: SPLIT TROGIR SPLIT (B)

Today is dedicated to visit two World Heritage sites: Split and Trogir. Split is a town of ancient history, built and preserved over the course of 1700 years by its loving inhabitants. On your walking tour of the city you will explore the UNESCO-listed Diocletian’s Palace with its Peristyle, Temple of Jupiter and Cathedral. Diocletian Palace is one of the most significant original structures of the late ancient architecture, a kind of Imperial Palace. Then visit Trogir, a pearl-like town in the heart of Dalmatia.  Here you will see the influence of the Roman Empire in the walls of the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, a Roman Catholic triple-naved basilica constructed in Romanesque-Gothic style.  Return to Split it the afternoon. Overnight in Split

Day 6: SPLIT ZADAR PLITVICE (B)

Depart for Zadar, one of the most beautiful old Dalmatian cities; at several-thousand-years-old, the city that has been the center of this part of the Adriatic coast since Roman times, and today is a city with a rich cultural heritage found on every corner. Enjoy some free time to explore the city before departing for Plitvice. Overnight in Plitvice

Day 7: PLITVICE OPATIJA (B)

This morning, depart for Plitvice Lakes National Park included on UNESCO’S list of world natural heritage sites since 1979. There are 16 interlinked lakes between Mala Kapela Mountain and Pljesevica Mountain. The lake system is divided into the upper and lower lakes. The upper lakes are separated by dolomite barriers, which grow with the formation of travertine, forming thus travertine barriers.  The lower lakes were formed by crumbling and caving-in of the vaults above subterranean cavities through which water of the upper lakes disappeared. Afterwards depart for Opatija one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Adriatic. Known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic” and “Queen of Tourism” this little town has the largest number of hotels in relation to population! With the services of a local guide enjoy a tour of the city. Overnight in Opatija

Day 8: OPATIJA ROVINJ PULA OPATIJA (B)

After breakfast depart for a full day excursion to the peninsula of Istra. Our first stop is Rovinj. Rovinj is a charmingly picturesque town and one the most romantic places in the Mediterranean! Rovinj was originally an island, but 250 years ago, the narrow channel which separated it from the mainland was filled in. It’s so delightfully pretty and also lively with its numerous cafes and restaurants and galleries. After Rovinj procced to Pula, a 3000 years old town with the famous Roman Amphitheater and its underground chambers, city gates and walls, Triumphal arch of Sergians, Roman Forum, Roman mosaic and Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin. Overnight in Opatija

Day 9: OPATIJA LJUBLJANA (B)

After breakfast, drive to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia and home to one of the oldest Philharmonics in the world; explore the baroque town buildings and stroll along side the majestic Ljubljana River that flows through the center of town. Many bridges cross the river, the most famous of which is Tromostovje (Triple Bridge). Baroque and art-nouveau have marked this exceptional city, together with new, modern architectural styles. The Old town, built on a hill as a fortress, from which you will see Ljubljana and its magnificent surroundings is the main attraction in the city.

Overnight in Ljubljana

Day 10: LJUBLJANA BLED BOHINJ - LJUBLJANA (B)

Today enjoy a full day tour of Bled with its mountainous environs and stunning topography and the Bohinj area. Lake Bled, together with its surroundings, ranks among the most beautiful alpine resorts. Visit the old town and castle with a local guide before continuing to the nearby Lake Bohinj.  Overnight in Ljubljana

Day 11: LJUBLJANA ZAGREB (B)

After breakfast, continue to Zagreb; a city rich with gorgeous greenery, famous for its parks and well preserved natural environment.  Your tour of Zagreb will take you through its long history.  In the historic Upper Town you will find St. Mark’s Church, with its famous multi-coloured mosaic-tiled roof, on the square where both Croatian Parliament and the seat of Government are located. You will also pass by the University and the city’s Gothic Cathedral.  With the fountain in front sculpted by the world-famous sculptor Ivan Meštrovi, you cannot miss the Croatian National Theatre, housed in the present-day Old City Hall and home to Zagreb’s drama, opera and ballet productions.  Here is a perfect example of the city’s diversity: it is not only a cultural and historical landmark but also a favourite hang-out for skateboarders!

Overnight in Zagreb

Day 12: ZAGREB USA/CANADA (B)

Today you will be transferred to Zagreb International Airport for your onward flight.

Hi Tordes I should have written earlier to tell you that we had a splendid trip to Europe in May. It couldn't have been better. We had fabulous meals, great hotels, and a fabulous tour guide. Edward kept us on schedule in a very diplomatic manner. He made sure we were prepared for our bus and train excursions each day. Edward's knowledge is unsurpassed. He spoke clearly and was very patient with explanations. He gave us lots of history but did not snow us under with any more details than we could handle. It was a busy schedule but thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you for your input in planning this trip. Looking forward to travelling with Indus Tours again.

Our tour with Indus Travels went very well. We visited Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Colombo, Kandy, and Nuwara Eiliya. The Indus team organized a great trip which allowed us to see many sights, shops, and local culture. Our drivers was always prompt, knowledgeable, courteous and safe. Our guides were knowledgeable and also flexible with regards to time we spent exploring each sight. Having the Indus team check on us every couple days and having the ability to contact the representative assigned to us 24/7 was great as it provided safety and comfort throughout our trip. If I were to do another trip to India I would definitely book with Indus again

We had an amazing time travelling around India and Sri Lanka. Our travel consultant at Indus Travels arranged all of our accommodation, our tour guide and our driver, not to mention our flights and accommodation. Indus Team did a wonderful job making this a trip to remember. The accommodation was amazing, very clean and the staff were very friendly, we did the cultural tour of Sri Lanka and it was incredible to see the diversity of such a small island, we would advise for young travellers to stay somewhere with a little bit more atmosphere in Nuwara Eliya. I will definitely be recommending this Tour to all of our friends and family. We had a very authentic experience of Sri Lanka and we met some amazing people. We saw Taj Mahal, Qutab Minar, Amber Fort, and went to see tea and spice plantation, visited local temples etc. It is such a beautiful place to visit and my friends and I had the trip of a lifetime!

I recently booked the best of Peru with Indus and had a fabulous time! It was our first time in South America so I was unsure but our Indus consultant told us great things about Peru and oh! was she right! Me and my friend both loved Miraflores in Lima- it felt very safe to walk around the city. But my favorite part of the trip was Sacred Valley where we got to stay in a very peaceful hotel with a stunning view of the mountains- simply incredible! Although at first I though the itinerary will be hectic, the tour was actually very pleasant with some time to visit on your own or relax- needed with the bit of jetlag! I came back very happy with both Indus service and the tour and I would recommend you 100% to book your tour with Indus- I am looking already at my next holiday with them. I have not taken Peru, Argentina and Brazil but if it is half as good as our Peruvian tour then you are bound to have a great trip!
