For those looking to see the very best of Peru with top quality service, expert guiding and luxury hotels.

Take in the spectacular wildlife of Peru’s Amazon rainforest from the luxury and comfort of your cruise boat. Enjoy time exploring the beautiful and historical surrounds of the Sacred Valley acclimatising to the atlitudes, before the lost Incan city of Machu Picchu, to then be wowed by the archaeological wonders found in the Spanish colonial city of Cusco.

With hotels handpicked along the way for their luxury and local character, the cruise of the Amazon is with other guests, but we have chosen only the best and most exclusive boats to make sure that your experience is a special and personal one.

Private tours give you the undivided attention of a guide, and often involve special access to sites and unique experiences not available to larger groups. This is a great option for families, couples, and small friend groups. Expect to pay a bit more for the extra service.

Company Reviews

Jacada –perhaps it is better in Africa, but definitely, do not use in Europe.
Like most travel agencies, they appear good early on- however, unavailability due to minimal staff- inexperienced agents doing the planning. They do not deliver what they promise.
All the confirmations were either not done, or done last minute-within days of the trip, and multiple last-minute changes resulted. No reply for literally a month before the trip and at the midpoint of the journey I was still waiting on an answer regarding rail luggage.

No attention to the details or involvement by our Jacada agent. They just subbed it out to another company and failed to forward a correct final itinerary. For instance, the agenda lacked correct times resulting in an hour, and a half debacle occurred on the second day. We received several erroneous itinerary envelopes and books that did not match. Everyone was out of their office, and our so-called concierge was on his annual leave the same dates as our tour. Due to the failure to provide a final schedule 10 days to two weeks out with times, spa appointments were all but impossible to arrange in advance and Jacada gave us no help. The last schedule book and envelope at the hotel were incorrect and out of date. In an example, the ridiculous bound book, that they give everyone was printed weeks earlier and out of date. The envelope with the Jacada schedule and hotel schedule all contradicted the times. Also, changes with phone numbers only appeared on final email the day we left, which could only be viewed on my phone or printed at a business center. The Jacada itinerary lacked names of guides and their phone numbers. We booked 18 days, three countries, and no one considered our luggage, transportation, or informing our driver of changes. Subsequently, you can expect to be extorted for email payments after the trip has begun. When you spend close to six figures, it is insulting the lack of response. Liquor bar chocolate does not make up for laziness. The only quick response was automated when your card was charged. The agent was incapable of listening or responding to my concerns. They did not even forgot the ages of my family and had a booster seat everywhere for my 15 year old. We had to pay for adult ticket upgrades at tours due to the agent booking for two adults and a toddler. I expected so much more (accuracy and a quick response when things did not go as planned and was unable to get a call back at a reasonable time, and some emails are still unanswered. My family has a genuine need for the type of service Jacada should provide. However, all of this was because Jacada is not a travel agent, but a third party-"middle man". Do not use Jacada in Europe; I encourage you to use custom Ireland direct and have them utilize Kerry coaches. In Spain, you should book through Made for Spain and Portugal. Arrange your transportation in-country so that you won't leave anything to chance. The economy flight they picked was horrible and hours late. The Barcelona business yatch club mediterranean cruise was a no show. The group was 30 minutes late and we were given multiple addresses and told that we needed to walk across the port and look for a 40 foot boat with a yellow cover. It was 94 degress and three quarters of a mile away after two cab rides, because the Captain moved the boat and it was not ready. Jacada refused to get involved and was unresponsive a week later. Furthermore, I gave our Jacada representitive one last opportunity to redeem herself when our flight was cancelled after a 10 hour delay. I asked for a porter to meet us at Heathrow, and was told she would arrange it and get back to me in an hour. Well she forgot and hours later I had to make my own arrangements. Do not use in Europe! This is not a true travel agent, just a third party and I could have done better without them involved using a reputable agency like custom Ireland or Made for Spain or Portugal.

Why respond after the trip?- Pathetic excuses too late. Do not waste your precious time.

Our family trip to Australia was extremely well organized by Jacada.
The many activities we had scheduled in advance were of the highest quality. The guides that led us were all very knowledgable and helpful. The local representatives were very responsive in the few times we had to contact them. All in all we had a very memorable vacation and we thank Jacada for arranging it for us.

Very professional

It was easy dealing with jacada. We were given one person to handle our account for this south America trip, making sure we were updated and reminded regularly. For every hotel we Checked into, they got messages and tour Reminders waiting for us either in our hotel room or via the hotel reception. Well done jacada. Thanks Jess and Berni!

Trip of a lifetime, thanks Jacada!

Jacada’s attention to detail was outstanding!
All the accommodations were 5 star!
Communication via email, Phone, mail prior to the trip was very prompt and informative.
We were always looked after upon arrival to all of destinations within Thailand and Cambodia, never left to wonder what we were to do or where to go because someone was always waiting to guide us through.
The itinerary was tailored to us, and we had adventures and life experiences that we would have never even known existed if it weren’t for the contacts Jacada has with the local people.
We felt safe in every situation and totally relaxed and enjoyed every minute of our vacation.
We are now looking at booking a trip to Africa in the next couple of years, and Jacada will be who we book with.

Highly recommend Jacada!

Thanks Kate and Thanks Wing.

Being the capital and largest city in the country, Lima is a necessary stop for all Peru travels. Among the modern developments are many Spanish Colonial buildings to explore.

It's a cosmopolitan city with some beautiful museums, parks and and gourmet restaurants. Lima is one of the culinary capitals of the world, with restaurants serving innovative (and tasty) interpretations of traditional Peruvian food.

Jacada can help you find (and book) the best for your Lima stay during your luxury tour of Peru. The city has Pacific Ocean views and a subtropical climate that make it a good spot for visitors to rest up and before venturing to higher altitudes.

Northern Peru Amazon Cruises

Peru's Northern Amazon is a huge area, reached by flying into the 'forest-locked' city of Iquitos which has no road connections to the rest of Peru.

Travelling here allows one access to one of the most pristine areas of the Amazon, the Pacayra Samira reserve of flooded forest. An area of outstanding beauty that is best visited by boat.

That's why we've selected a number of luxury, expedition cruises to allow you to explore deep into the jungle, whilst remaining in comfort. What makes a trip into the Amazon exceptional however, is the guides, who we feel are exceptional on these cruises. It's through their intimate knowledge of the rainforest that you will come to appreciate and enjoy this vast wilderness.

Speak to your Travel Designer about incorporating a Northern Peru Amazon Cruise into your luxury tour of Peru.

Sacred Valley

North West of Cusco, the Sacred Valley is one of the most beautiful and historically important parts of Peru. The Valley was one of the bases of Inca civilisation, the river that winds its way through believed to be aligned with the Cosmos.

The beautiful scenery and relaxing setting make this a great place to stop and relax for a few days. Several of the Inca's finest works were built in this region making it a fantastic place to visit and take in the ancient culture of Peru. The valley is also home to many indigenous people living in the same traditions as they have been for centuries and it's possible to visit local markets and communities as well as the many magnificent Inca Ruins built along the length of the valley.

The Hiram Bingham and the Vistadome luxury trains depart from Cusco and stop in the Sacred Valley on their way to Machu Picchu. Speak to your Travel Designer about incorporating the Sacred Valley into your luxury tour of Peru.

Machu Picchu

One of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu is an attraction that's not to be missed. The Lost Incan City as it's sometimes referred to is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important archaeological sites in Peru, if not the Americas.

Situated on a mountain ridge north west of Cusco and 2,400 meters above sea level. Machu Picchu is a marvel of human engineering and testament to the advanced level of Incan Science and culture. There's something very special about this unique location, it really has to be seen and experienced to be believed. Our expert local guides will help you see the very best of the citadel, exploring the best viewpoints and pondering the many questions about its mysterious past.

The Citadel can be reached from Cusco and the Sacred Valley by high quality luxury rail services including the Vistadome and 'Hiram Bingham' trains or by hiking the famous Inca Trail. Our experts are here to help you choose the option that will suit you best on your luxury Peru tour.

Capital of the Incan Empire from the early 14th century until its Spanish conquest, Cusco is still a beautiful city with a magical feel. Gateway city to the infamous Machu Picchu, the city is situated in a valley of the Andes Mountains with not only historical Incan ruins, but Spanish architecture and wealth. A trip to Cusco is not to be missed on any luxury Peru tour.

Our guides will unlock the experience of Cusco for you, not only explaining the history, but also the hidden secrets of today's city, from interesting restaurants to local Artisans' workshops.

One cannot visit the Machu Picchu ruins without also visiting all the history and culture that this city has to offer making it the archeological capital of the Americas. Native Incans still inhabit the area speaking their Quechua language and thriving primarily off of agriculture. The cobblestone streets, adobe houses, and open markets add to Cusco's unique charm.
