Our son and daughter-in-law had used Travel Beyond in the past as had friends on their recommendation and ALL had high praise! Now we have experienced why! There are so many details to planning such a trip and we quickly experienced how wonderful it was to have someone else in charge from meeting us at the airports, getting us through customs, etc. Just follow the guide. Our guide for Capetown area was Dave who was absolutely charming and full of knowledge and SO personable. We all fell in love with Dave and hated to part with him. We had some snafus in the plan and he handled each so smoothly with a plan B, both of which were delightful. Next to Ngala Safari Lodge. Our guide, Japie, won us all over very quickly with his wit, charm and incredible knowledge and skill. At Timbavati Private Game préserve you can go “off road” and we’ve decided we wouldn’t want to do it any other way. We were a little late arriving but they fed us a quick lunch and got us on our way. The lodgings were amazing...rustic elegance...as was the food. We had a welcoming note from our agents, Jeanie and Melanie, at each place and surprise events planned to celebrate our 4 special events! Jeanie arranged a quick tour of Victoria Falls and then on to Chobe Game Lodge which has an amazing setting on the Chobe River. It’s a park so there was no off road viewing. We were disappointed in our guide as she was more a driver than guide but we did get to see a lot of animals and some lion activity! We’re now trying to think what would we like Travel Beyond and Jeanie to plan for us next!!

Our vacation was amazing and absolutely perfect. Jenny and Rachel planned every detail of our safari adventure, and all my husband and I had to do was show up, ready to go. We had the most wonderful trip, staying at three different Kenyan lodges. Every one of them was slightly different, but we loved each place. I will definitely use them again, for the next time we travel to Africa, and will be tempted to do exactly the same itinerary! But I won't, since I know they have even more options in their portfolio that I will also love. If you use Travel Beyond, you will be cared for and everything you need will be arranged perfectly.

When 3 friends who have never traveled to Africa, decide to travel to Africa, they very quickly find that it's an overwhelming trip to plan for novices. We needed help and had separately noted very knowledgeable, smart, comments and suggestions for inquiring travelers on various travel threads from Travel Beyond staff. We all agreed we felt good about using them. We never looked back. Jenny was amazing and helped us with our trip to Victoria Falls then on to two camps in Zambia; Flatdogs for South Luangwe National Park and Chongwe River Camp in the Lower Zambezi. No detail was left undone including lovely notes waiting for us on arrival, a surprise birthday cake, a floating river lunch, amazing accommodations (quite often being upgraded on our arrival) and being treated exceptionally well at all locations. Though arriving at our fist camp after the evening game drives had departed, she arranged for us to still be taken out once we did arrive. The Tipping Guide provided was the envy of other travelers as well as having greeters at every small regional airport stops to assist with luggage, transfers and boarding. She even helped us with suggestions for the stay that we planned ourselves in Cape Town. Providing us with an emergency number we could call regardless of day or time was a comfort but thankfully never needed. The trip was everything I could have hoped for and more. You will be in good hands with Travel Beyond

Travel Beyond helped us book our honeymoon to South Africa and Mozambique in October. Marguerite was a dream to work with, and the hotels and locations she picked for us were absolutely perfect. She checked in with us periodically over the course of the year leading up to our honeymoon and was always responsive and helpful when we had questions. The personal touch of a note and champagne at our hotel for the first night of our honeymoon, and a handwritten card at every hotel stop afterwards, was above and beyond. Will definitely be recommending Travel Beyond to anyone who asks about traveling to Africa!

Marguerite did a wonderful job of setting me up on a once till next time trip to Botswana. The Okavango Delta was a wonderful place, the animals sightings included 2 Leopards, 8 Cheetah, lots of Lions, elephants and everything else you could hope to see on safari. I was not really a bird person till now. the colors and variety where unbelievable. Back to Marguerite and the Julia, all details were correct, all questions were answered during the selection process and all information was spot on. All transit, boarder crossings and light air travel were correct. The selection of camps met my expectation.
Yes I would call Travel Beyond again, I think Galapagos is next on my list.
Thanks Again Ladies
