Short Description

Pay tribute to the “queen” of Europe’s great rivers, the enchanting Danube.German poet Friedrich Hölderlin called the Danube “a refreshing, melodious river, sometimes foaming with high spirits, at other times dreaming serenely.” For centuries, this exquisite waterway has cast its spell on poets, musicians and artists of all kinds. Now it’s your turn to be inspired.

These vessels are smaller than most ocean cruisers, limiting which amenties are available. Passenger counts can vary. One of the biggest advantages of a river cruise is the ability to dock at smaller ports and local villages.

From start to finish we were made to feel as if we were the most important guests the crew had ever hosted. Nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was outstanding. In particular I must mention Tibo, Marco and Virgil as staff that were outstanding. In addition the cruise director was very helpful, full of advice and so interested in everyone.
